Our local bar with a great range of beers and spirits. A rotating choice of local cask ales on the hand pump provides additional interest. Roddy has filled the bar with his collection of popular culture posters and runs a comfortable and welcome hostelry for locals and visitors. Pizza at your table supplied by excellent local restaurant Oregano makes it hard to leave. Great independent local.

Best pub this side of town! So thankful this is my local. Always has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and a great crowd. Can order pizzas from origano to be delivered to the pub too!

Probably my favourite bar in Edinburgh and I visited a lot. Close enough to the centre to feel valid and far enough out to not be cliched or ruined by, well, tourists like me.Decent ambience, good selection of drinks and staff who add a bit of value above just serving food and drinks.If you’re staying out in the direction of Leith then this is an excellent place to start and end your night. If you’re not fussed about the mania of the city centre this is an excellent place to spend time.

Great pub with quality beer and good welcoming service! After years of living next to Germany, you can't beat a pint of Weihenstephan. I just wish they had the original Helles on draft as well.Haven't tried ordering pizza from next door yet, that'll be for the next visit!

Great pub and close to town centre. Very friendly staff, good selection of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and tasty pizza. The Wednesday quiz is good too!
