Redfields Garden Centre

Whoever is the chief buyer does duch a fabulous job. Such a great selection. Huge variety and lovely presents for any home or age group. Particularly now with their Xmas displays. The Best choice I have seen.Prices are a little/lot high but you get free parking and a great cafe.

Enjoyed my visit on this particular occasion. The stock of plants was good, I bought a nice succulent and orchid potting mix, as well as a gonk from the beautifully laid out autumn display. Sometimes the stock lacks, especially for plants, but all in all a nice garden centre with a relaxing ambiance.

Redfields really knows how to put on a show for Christmas. The cafe/restaurant, from homemade cakes and pastries to a full lunch menu, is always a treat. If its warm enough to sit out amongst the greenery for a cream tea or toasted pannini, that's my idea of bliss. Always reliable for a good few hours of shopping heaven.

Very good selection of clothes gifts and Christmas itemsCafe upstairs good but main cafe very poor service. One person had finished food before second had got theirs or the tea. Over 30minutes to get tea. Disappointing.

Really enjoyed my visit here! Everything presented really lovely. Nicely spaced layout and such tasteful, elegant choice of products. Good selection of plants.The cafe is beautiful too. Service could be a bit quicker, but it's worth it. You can see they are very busy, but seated us quickly. Great selection of lovely food as well. Can't wait for an excuse to go back, especially for dessert.

Had a lovely ginger and apple tea and chicken mayo sandwich at the Treetops Cafe.

I went Redfields Garden Centre with an open mind as I wasn't sure what outdoor Christmas decorations I wanted. They had such a wonderful range of items and a customer service assistant was extremely helpful. He showed me all of the functions of the different items I was interested in and was very happy with my purchase. I can't wait to display everything. Thank you very much.

Visited here for lunch and a catch up with a friend. Ordered: a club sandwich with Greek potato salad, and a jacket potato with cheese and beans.Food was nice and there was lots of it. Service was good with very friendly staff.There were two things that unfortunately let our visit down slightly.Firstly the number of flies in the indoor restaurant while we were eating was surprising.Secondly were the two luxury hot chocolates that we ordered. They were really just warm milk with no taste of chocolate at all. We mentioned this to the staff and they kindly provided us with two fresh ones, but again these had a mere hint of chocolate flavour. Unfortunately quite disappointing.Updated review:Visited here again, this time just for a drink and something sweet. I can't update on the quality of the hot chocolate as I had a soft drink. However the lemon meringue pie was lovely.
