Lovely cake with a great selection and very nice juice. Bit pricey at £22 for both of us but can't fault the food. Staff all very friendly.

Amazing food . I ordered ham & cheese crossiant and was expecting the usual but it was baked and crossiant was flaky from out soft from inside ( just the way I like )Carrot cake is a must haveStaff : a red hair steward was very rude & inhospitable. They need to learn to serve better . Started cleaning the table even before we left ( what hurry are you in )

Had a huge Scottish breakfast here as brunch/lunch after an early arrival to Edinburgh.Still full 5 hours later...Tasty bacon, nice haggis, crispy hashbrowns, eggs over easy etc, and a nice cold orange juice. Not cheap, but considering location neither in any way over priced.Nice staff, but a bit much noice from the guests upstairs (seated right under).

Went here for breakfast and it was quite good! They were able to fit 6 of us comfortably! The staff were extremely friendly and answered all questions. Food was delicious, no complaints across the board. No alcohol if you are looking for that. Overall enjoyed our experience!

This is the perfect place for brunch in Edinburgh, with tasty mains and desserts alike. On the window you will see all of the delicious cakes to tempt you to come in. For my brunch I had some salmon on toast drizzled in balsamic glaze, and then a caramel shortbread as a treat. The quality of food was top notch. My only complaint would be the waiting time which was quite long, but in the end the wait was totally worth it.

I liked the vibe. The cafe has insite and on the street area which are nice. The breakfast tasted well. We ordered porridge and scotch breakfast. The price is like £15 if you also want a drink.

This is a really good find, right near the Royal Mile. There were no tables when we arrived so we ordered and sat outside to wait for people to leave.Once inside, the cafe is super cosy. There were about 8 big homemade cakes in the window to choose from, and lots of tables.I had the vegetarian breakfast which came with a tattie scone (sort of like a thin hash brown) and veggie haggis (which was delicious). I was really impressed. My partner had the club sandwich and fries and said it was good.Pretty reasonably priced considering the location, so rest assured that this isn't a tourist trap!

It's a good place to sit and have coffee or something small. It's a bit of a tourist trap though. I don't mind paying those prices for coffee and cakes even though they are at a more marked-up price then other cafés, but the actual food there is pretty pricey, I have to say.
