I had my nails done by Gemma as I always do and got a birthday set. She has slowly gotten me to dip my toes into nail art and always impresses.

Had a horrible experience here. I wanted to get a hybrid lash extension done and found this salon on Google at a price of £60. First, I was booked for 11am on a Saturday after I was forced to get a patch test done (which I understand, for insurance purposes). I was later called to move my appointment forward to 10am and I agreed.I went in for my appointment and the lash artist kept me for over 30mins telling me how she couldn’t provide the service because I had naturally curly lashes. The worst thing was that after a few trials and her not being able to fix my lashes, she told me she couldn’t do it, and that she had another appointment for 11am. I got upset and complained about not getting my service even after I made time to book my appointment and now feeling rushed to leave. I think her next client cancelled and she started to say she has cancelled all her appointments for the day because of me (which I didn’t believe), and would give it a few more tries. I obliged because I really wanted my lash extensions. After a few attempts with no luck, she gave up and said she didn’t want to fix it and that I wouldn’t like it. Eventually, I left and got it somewhere else, this time with another artist who knew what she was doing for £40…20quid less than the horrible experience I had at Cover Beauty. Also, I had planned to change my nail polish and remove my already broken acrylic nails and was been charged a ridiculous amount of about £50 altogether. A service I got at another nail salon for £30. Never again!

I went to the granger street branch to get hybrid lash extensions for £60. I thought that the procedure was lovely and pain free (other places have hurt). Unfortunately the next day, two of my lashes had already fallen out, one on each eye, and this did not look great as it made gaps. I contacted and was informed to come in for an infill for free within one week which I did. I was provided with an infill which fixed the gaps I had but 4 days later, the same thing begins to happen. The fallout of lashes just kept happing day after day and by two weeks, I eventually removed them myself as they looked bad and full of gaps. When I have had lashes done before elsewhere, they have lasted me 2 months with the correct care.

I went yesterday to do my eyebrow threading and lashes. I asked the lady in Intu Eldon Square to have a natural look and she suggested the two times length which she said it was number 14 lashes. After she applied it it did not seem natural look, it looked very fake and the length was not natural at all, the lashes were not distributed properly and I asked her if she could trim which she agreed, after she did it, the trim was more awful, the trim was disproportionate, I asked her to fix as I couldn't not go anywhere with those lashes, I was not happy to pay for that awful treatment, she then called the security guy and he said she could take me to dispute which she did say she did not want, she insulted me saying I was looking for a cheap treatment and she was going to remove the lashes which I was totally fine as I didn't want them. She then grabbed my eyes with no care and hurting me which I feel it was on purpose when applying the liquid to remove, I was crying of pain and she said I was making it worse for me, which I replied she did not care of the liquid in my eyes, I was very scared this could damage my eyes and skin, she was complaining about using her time while at that time she was attending other customers and leaving me unattended with quemical on my eyes for long. I was scared and I couldn't see what was going around me, I couldn't do nothing as I had to close my eyes and she abused of that and treated me awful. I said I couldn't take the quemical any longer and she removed and passed me a small fan to dry and few minutes I could open my eyes which were very irritated, a couple of lashes were left but I did not want her to apply any of her harmful products on me, so I paid for the eyebrow threading and came home with pain in my eyes, headache and still few hours after I have pain in all of my face and tongue. She was complaining about her time and her money but not taking care of safety and professionalism. I am afraid after her lack of safety I need to ring the hospital and report this to trading standards for her abusive and dangerous services.

They destroyed my nails. I went to get gel nails done and the beautician used the filing machine really harshly and this ended up destroying my nail bed and creating dips in it. Also nail polish was applied horribly most of it was on my skin and I had to keep telling her clean it. The staff was friendly but I Do not recommend this service for gel nails.

Had lovely nails done by Diane today. The nail technician who was supposed to do my nails was off sick but Diane was kind to come in on her day off and do my nails. Adorable and helpful salone. Every minute here is worth spending, everybody is warm and welcoming.123 Grainger Street Salone !

Awful experience would not go back! Had my nails done Monday and by yesterday one had already broke. That is my real nail underneath that is now significantly shorter than the rest. I was charged £31 for a REFILL after my appointment getting pushed and then I waited an extra 20 minutes after arrival. She could not do what I asked. I felt extremely uncomfortable while getting them done as well as she kept sighing while doing my nails like I was a burden. Just go somewhere else

Always get my Nails done at Cover and wouldn't go anywhere else, Gemma who is the one who always along with Helen is amazing if you want Nail art done. Highly recommend Preeth at CoverBeauty! She was so kind and patient during my eyebrow and facial threading appointment and made sure she tailored her treatment to my sensitive skin! Will definitely be back :)

I've had 70 pound lash extensions done and followed the proper aftercare for it and still my lashes will just come off and its only been a few days and I have major gaps I've contacted them about this and they've not gotten back to me
