£20 a night for a tent pitch without drinking water or a shower, and a very basic toilet is a rip off. The dunes are lovely but there are tons of empty caravans everywhere which mar the site and take up useable space.

Great place to camp with some amazing views of the sea, was really quiet and peaceful with lots of space. The toilets and showers are average but better then nothing!

Great camp site. Dish-washing, toilet and shower and waste facilities. Generally very quiet, despite the many caravans. Cheap fees at £20 per tent per night.

Just back from 3 nights camping here . A really lovely site with amazing views and a quiet pet friendly place . Stunning sea views , and a lot of pitches are right above the beach with tracks down from the pitch to the beach. For £20 per night it's fantastic value . No electric is available, which adds to the quiet and is nice to switch off.

We came here as a group of 5 with a VW caddy and 2 tents. Fantastic value for money at £20 and an additional £5 for a large amount of firewood. Facilities are basic and dated but useable. It felt like a happy medium between serviced camping and wild camping. Site was very windy but died down later in the evening. Only complaint is the same as others that the caravans dotting the site are an eyesore. Otherwise the location was stunning with excellent views of the beach which were wonderful to wake-up to

This campsite gave me an apocalyptic vibe, many abandoned caravans, not too many people, which may be a positive - it’s quiet and peaceful. You can arrive any time, which is a big plus, many camping sites close early. Toilets are ok, clean, however, shower could be better.

Park & set up where you like, dont worry about the majority of caravans already here, they are likely unoccupied. Hot water available for showers, bathroom sinks and washing up area. Decent flushing toilets here too. Someone comes round and collects the £20 nightly fee from you, they will probably also offer you firewood if you want it. Keep in mind drinking water isn't available here.

Location is stunning & beautiful, altho difficult to get 2. Be warned small narrow tunnel to get thro..check height & width 1st. Right on the beach £20 a night, no electrical hook up, no running drinking water, so consider that. Toilet block...Well...what can I say, basic is the word. 2 toilets 1 shower each male & female. Washing up station, has hot water, as do the showers. Site doesn't have any hard standings..infact it is abit up & down & toraine needs mastering..caravans/campers seem to be parked where ever, no rime or reason. Lady on site is lovely. Great 4 dogs infact lady insisted not on lead!. Altho there were no other people 2 b seen!!....

Amazing spot to camp, regulars here are friendly, bathrooms a bit scary full of spiders but that's the joy of camping!!

If you arrive when it’s a bit overcast and gloomy the site can seem a touch apocalyptic, but give it an hour or so and the beautiful location and tranquility takes over. The road in is a bit rough but definitely doable for a transporter size of van. The tunnel leading in restricts the size of the vehicle. The facilities don’t look great but there’s everything you need and it’s relatively clean and maintained. No drinking water can be a problem for some people but I’d read other reviews so knew to take some.My only real criticism is that on the phone I was told that because it was just myself camping it would cost £10 but when the lady came around collecting the money she asked for £20, I did say it was just me but she still wanted £20. Other than that it was a nice stop over. They even have a nudist beach but sadly it was too rainy to give it a go.I’d definitely return. x
