Coloured Soul Dundee

After my first appointment, I was unhappy with the colour and cut but they were willing to sort out a solution and I left with hair I was much happier with! I appreciated their flexibility.

The owner is extremely rude and clearly doesn’t enjoy cutting hair. By far the worst experience in a hair salon. First they changed my appointment with him even though I made it with someone else. No one bothered to apologise or say anything. Second he called me mate the whole time, caught my earpiece with the comb, asked me if the length at the back is good - without actually showing me the back of my head and finally let me stand up with hair on my face. I asked at the till if I can get a brush so I can get rid of the hair from my face and in a very dismissive tone he told me to sit down, I told him that that I would like to pay and leave because the whole experience was very unpleasant and he told me that it wasn’t him who took the appointment while raising his tone at me. I reminded him that I am a client and that this is his business and he physically pushed me out of the salon calling me cheeky.

I absolutely love this place. conveniently got my hair cut along with my 4 year old daughter at the same time. The staff are so kind and easy to talk to. The salon is very nice with an upstairs for hair cuts and downstairs for having your hair washed. Good price for hair cuts and would highly recommend the salon to anyone :)

I popped in just on the off chance of a trim as I don’t live in the area, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Ryan is a delight to chat to and did a brilliant job with what was my rather messy hair. Thanks everyone!

Shocking service! from Coloured Soul Broughty Ferry! my partner booked online and paid a deposit. On arriving at her appointment she was told that she could not have her appointment as needed a 'consultation' (not mentioned when booked which was around 4 weeks previous to her appointment.). Also when she initially booked she emailed them twice with no reply so they had plenty opportunity to provide this information. They then went on to tell her 'We don't have time for what you want done today anyway'. Staff were rude and told her that she would have to go elsewhere. Avoid at all costs very unprofessional!
