Lovely scenery& nice tentsFacilties not so greatI would say this site is in between camping and glamping but at the glamping price point ...a little expensive for what it is

A beautiful spot and clean campsite with lovely bell tents. I wouldn’t say it qualifies for glamping though. The price reflects the view but facilities let it down a lot. Portaloos which smell and showers in a portaloo seems a lazy alternative and with no easy ability for handwashing apart from an open tap, no soap as it would have to lie in the grass next to the tap! I get it’s camping and we camp a lot as a large family, but these things make it hard with children especially. I asked if I could use 100ml of hot water at 7.45am from the owners kettle which was boiling ready to serve teas and coffees at 8am for my baby as our camping stove refused to work that morning and was told he would be able to help me at 8am - not hugely helpful! It’s a very lovely spot to camp and our children had the best time…. But I Think it’s overpriced for the provision especially compared to local competitors.

Cannot speak highly enough of Bells at Cleavel Point. Absolutely stunning location, beautiful and very comfy bell tents, all the facilities we needed, clean and tidy, delicious home-cooked pizzas, and Jon and Alison couldn’t have done any more to make us feel welcome. Kids had an absolute blast just running around the wonderful campsite, and paddleboarding in the water. Will 100% be coming back!

Really lovely site, the team are very friendly and helpful.Excellent pizzas and breakfast baps.My son loved playing with the 3 collies and the water is safe for children to play in.Toilets and washing facilities are basic and cleaned regularly, adequate for a short stay. This is our second stay and will be going back.

My family and I stayed in the next tent to my sister as joint booking. I can only echo her comments about the terrible facilities but fantastic tent and location. We think the website and careful wording have elevated this to glamping which it is not. We have stayed in many other campsites without these issues and paid alot less. A few other reviewers clearly agree as to the very basic facilities. The toilets were disgusting with inadequate hand washing provision. Thank goodness, the site was nearly empty which would have compounded the issue. The business chose not to respond to my sister's comments publicly but rather with a nasty text message. Have they done this to all negative reviews? We thought she was polite and honest. Therefore 1 star.

Stayed here for 2 nights, The bell tents were lovely, spacious and very comfortable indeed. We had a beautiful view and although the facilities were basic they were very clean. The owners were so lovely and helpful and welcoming. We ordered Pizzas for tea prepared and cooked on site and these were delicious and breakfast baps for the morning which were also very nice. Despite some very noisy fellow campers playing loud music until midnight on our last night I would certainly stay here again! Very Highly recommended.

If you are looking for glamping/camping near shops and restaurant, this is not the place. But like us, if you are looking for quiet, beautiful, away from everything but would appreciate clean toilet, shower facilities, this is the place.Oh also, you wouldn't believer how tasty their pizza was !!! I really wanted to know recipe for the dough they made. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful location and the tents were very nice but the amenities are really poor and we wouldn’t go back because of this. A few porta loos dotted around are not great in the August heat also with no lighting so don’t forget your phone torch! No hand washing facilities either. 1 sink with cold water for washing up, brushing teeth and face etc is not ideal and the lights go off before 10pm so again a torch is needed. Glamping this is not. We stayed for 2 nights and wanted to extend our stay but did not because of the facilities. The porta showers were tiny with no where to get changed so had to brave the walk and shower in a swimming costume - very disappointed to say the least.

Bias, as I’ve always visited the area as a family since a child. But I think it’s the most beautiful seaside location of any campsite we’ve visited in the UK. Jon and team are great, breakfast perfect, we’ll definitely head back.

Beautiful location, fantastic staff. This is the second year we have stayed here and it just gets better and better. Well done to Jon and his team for another fantastic camping holiday. 10/10
