Guy built two combined lean-to sheds for us and our neighbours clad in excellent long lasting featherboard larch which is weathering in very nicely. His attention to detail and collaboration with us has resulted in a solid, functional and aesthetically pleasing store which we make use of daily.Many thanks for this wonderful addition to our house and that of our neighbours.

I set Guy a challenge: building a shed to look like one compartment from an old-fashioned railway carriage, something he had never done before. I was impressed by how thoroughly he did his home-work: identifying a suitable prototype, researching 19th century carriage building and producing detailed drawings. In fact, my only criticism is that the computer-generated images did not do justice to the finished product. I only had a space 6’ x 6’, but the shed is surprisingly roomy, especially in terms of headroom. Guy kept me fully informed during the planning and costings phase and took my wishes into account, including converting my rather vague ideas into something more practical. He and his assistant Carl installed the shed to an agreed timetable and left the site very tidy. Throughout the design and building stages, Guy was friendly and professional. The shed exceeded my expectations and I was impressed by the attention to detail: the opening drop-light window in the door, complete with leather strap; and the bench seat is spot on for a Victorian third-class coach. Overall, an excellent job, with top quality workmanship.

Guy did a great job for us. He took the time to properly understand what we were after and created designs that fitted the brief perfectly. The finished wardrobes exceeded our expectations, the standard of finish was excellent and we have ended up with exactly what we wanted. I have no hesitation in recommending Guy.

Guy did a lovely job of putting shelves in my art studio.The work was beautifully done with great attention to visual details of alignment etc. as well as practicality/strength. I really appreciated his willingness to incorporate some existing units (more eco!)

Guy set up some beautiful shelves made out of natural wood (sitting on handmade brackets) in our attic. Everything was perfect, from initial discussion around possible designs to finished unit.
