My daughter Chelsey has been twice now and absolutely loves it, Craig is so knowledgeable in everything survival, accompanied by the lovely Tracy they both go above and beyond to make your experience special.I can't recommend a visit here enough especially for the Axe throwing which is awesome.I booked a Father/Daughter experience for my daughter Chelsey's birthday and to see the smiles on her face was priceless as well as creating some special memories.Once again thank you so much for an amazing time.Gary and Chelsey

Highly recommended! We booked 3 hours with our friends. Together we were 4 adults and 4 kids between 9-12 yrs old. We covered fire lighting, axe throwing, bannock making (and eating) and archery.The day was a huge success and we can't thank Craig and Tracy enough for all the help, knowledge and amazing tips, advice and stories they shared with us.We'll definitely be back and will include pizza making in the next booking for sure!

Booked Rugged Outdoors with Craig a few months back for Easter. Unfortunately owing to the weather conditions we couldn't get out. However Craig's communication was first class and the refund sent through without any issues. Will 100% rebook when back in North Yorkshire, it looks fantastic and we are upset that the elements meant we missed it.

Four of us took part in the Willow weaving reindeer workshop and what a great time we had. Craig and Tracey were really attentive right from booking onwards and on the day their organisation was great. We all left with smiles on our faces and willow reindeers under our arms. Will definitely look out for similar events run by Rugged Outdoors

Booked Axe Throwing for me and my two nephews to celebrate a birthday and it was the highlight of their day.Craig is an absolutely amazing host. Friendly, encouraging, fantastic instructor, great with my nephew who had a learning disability and a joy to spend time with. It never felt like we were on a strict schedule with an alloted time booked.He genuinely cared to make sure we had a great time celebrating with us when we did well and where/when to take photos/videos to capture the experience.It is incredibly family friendly and covid safe with it being outdoors compared to other places that offer axe throwing.We'll definitely be coming back to try archery and some of the other activities!

What a fabulous day out for our family. Not something we have ever done before but we would definitely do it again. As well as being a learning experience we also had the best fun and our hosts, Craig and Tracey, where knowledgeable, friendly and enormously welcoming. The day is catered to suit your preferences and age range. We recommend the ace throwing.

Craig is absolutely outstanding. My little boy loves their weekly sessions and it's fascinating to see how much he learns. Craig has such a fantastic personality and warmth. Thoroughly recommend!
