Mark Preece is very helpful in traffic control and a pleasure to work with. He keeps turn around times to a minimum so let him do what he does best! All the staff are very helpful too

December 2021- The honeymoon period of VBS has finished. Bank on being here for quite a few hours. Don't plan a second job or a particular time to be anywhere. Give yourself 2 to 4 hours to get a box off and on, and then be prepared to be late. One star given because the staff are still pleasant.November 2021 -Gone to the VBS system and entry is now more consistent. Friendly staff if you need to contact then through the intercom. The only thing that let's it down is you don't know if you are going to be in there 10 minutes or 4 hours. Depends in demand, shift changeovers and breaks. Still you can wave and smile at everyone and most will acknowledge you and exchange pleasantries. Good people.

They changed few things there, now you have to go through scanners from left side then to vbs machines for location instead of talking to person on window for locations.

Since the vbs system has been put i never have a problem going here it's a quick turn around to get a box lifted and a box on sometimes it only takes minutes and you are out the gates. It's made my job alot easier. The staff on the intercoms are very helpful too just incase your box has failed to deck.

Yeah not bad, could be a tad more helpful with some extra signs about re where to queue, but this might be a freightliner thing generally as Cardiff is the same. Perhaps is just me being stupid ... it all works out in the end and the lifter drivers are good guys after all.

This place is so badly laid out I didn't have a clue where I was going or what I was doing nobody at the start to explain where you need to be. Only given 1 star because of the guy in the fork lift stopping and putting me right.

A great container terminal, easy to get in/outVery straightforward. Shame you don’t have any human contact anymore

Guys work hard and are always busy when i watch them from over the canal from my work site

Guys - put on your thinking caps. This is a difficult place to access and navigate to. Low bridges, poor signage, narrow turns and that’s before you even arrive. Think ahead before taking your artic to this container depot. Check out Google Maps (Satellite and Street View) before arriving in Birmingham - if your transport manager cannot provide you with Delivery Point information. Good luck!
