An amazing hostel! We were there over a weekend at the start of December. Ensuite rooms, great kitchen, a little shop and restaurant next door, too! Great views and so well located right next to some great walks. Very accommodating host as well. Can't fault it, loved it!

Edit: they have now changed the electric car chargers to £6 per hour which is £0.86 pkwh. That is extortionate for low powered chargers, motorway superchargers are cheaper. charging more is fine over donations but that maths is not cool!Good community centre/shop/bunkhouse/cafe! Has 4 7kw electric vehicle chargers which is very forward thinking compared to the local area (Including Caernarfon!), donation for the electric used which i paid fairly. Small but good and suitably stocked shop (even dog ice cream!) and the cafe/restaurant is great with very good quality food. The building is upkept very well and has a great view out onto the nantille. All the staff we met all had a smile and treated locals and far flung guests the same.

Very good place to stay for a few days if you like walking around snowdonia. The views are spectacular the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has not been open for very long and they are still setting up the various events you can do from there. The centre manager had only been there for a couple of days and already has lots of ideas for various activities. Looking forward to hearing what he is doing over the summer

Lovely views, not a place to stay as a family, had two bad nights of others being loud and drinking and carrying on, no response from the people who own it.

Stopped off at this place for a spot of lunch. Food was good, reasonably priced and the lady serving us was friendly with an infectious laugh. If you are lucky to get a seat in the conservatory area (only 3 or 4 tables) you are treated to some magnificent views of the Snowdonian mountains. Well worth the visit!

A great hostel! We are here over a weekend beginning of December. They are bunk beds with a double bed at the bottom in our room, also Ensuite wet room, great shower.The kitchen area is good with indervidual cupboard with you room number so can keep separate, tv ,cooker, kettle, settee too.Nice little shop and restaurant next door too!Great views and so well located right next to some great walks. 3 pubs all around 8 to 10 mins drive away.Very accommodating host, polite. Kitchen staff fantastic too.Can't fault it.

This is a lovely conversion from a primary school into rooms, shop and cafe. The cafe is only open on the weekends and Mondays due to a lack of footfall. The location is stunning and gives easy access to walk the slate trails. Dangerous drops on the walks, so be careful with children and pets. Views are breathtaking. Highly recommended
