Has very good choice of clothing and recently brought a sports bag from their. My brother however came in a few days before hand and bought me the bag so when I explained the situation to the person behind the till he quite happily taken the bag back and refunded me with out a problem. Great customer service :).

I buy online blazer for my son 1st holy communion.When he was trying found some kind of batch inside the pocket.Took it to the swindon store to return and the staff checked and confirmed somebody has used it and returned and sold to me by River Island.Completely not happy with the service.During this Covid-19 situation they must check and clean the Returns item.

Had an order delivered to store. They said it wasn't there without going to look until I showed them on my phone that it had been delivered and signed for and low and behold it was there.so be warned and take proof! Oh and the week before I had to go in twice because they said it wasn't there the first time but I hadn't checked that time.

Shocking customer service, was in store for nearly 15minutes,, wasn't asked once if there was anything that could be done for me, stood at till area and nobody asked me if I needed help, two male staff had faces like slapped backsides, when somebody finally came to counter did not say hello, smile or even look at me, definitely will never be going in there again, shall spend my money elsewhere ☹️

River island is located in a modern build. Very attractive layout inside and out. The womens are downstairs and mens and childrenswear are upstairs. Personally, in what it offers is great. But, River Island as a brand I think is losing its touch with style.

Worst staff in men’s section. I picked a shirt from men’s section- tried it and accidentally left the shirt hanger in men’s trial room. The KID I was served is telling me off that I should get the hangers along the shirt. I said it was by an accident but he made a big deal out of it and the manager was supporting the KLOWN
