DSM Independent Land Rover

In our moment of need, as we were nearing the end of a 5 hour journey, we pulled into DSM in the hope they might be able to assist with a fault our car had developed en route. While my wife and 3 year old daughter browsed the lovely range of used cars on sale (including a great 09 Volkswagen Beetle emblazoned like Herbie) the team at DSM jumped into action and soon we were bundling back into a car and continuing our journey safe in the knowledge that we would arrive at our destination in good time. They're a friendly, polite, and knowledgeable team. Thank you DSM!

Bought a cheap gold freelander 2004 apart from one glitch with the rear passenger electric window. I am extremely pleased with the purchase. This company are very good even managing to find a cargo cover for me. Excellent customer service. If you want a land Rover these are the guys.

Broke my axle in the middle of my road trip around England! Luckily I was not far and popped in there and the guys were able to fix it straight away and keep me rolling! Big thanks to the mechanic who did a great job!

Very friendly family based, very helpful

Purchased a discovery 3 8 months ago, developed a small fault recently which they diagnosed and gave the solution to fixing with any charge. Great selection of cars, will definitely use again

We visited DSM about 3 weeks ago now, we were not local and had travelled 2 hours to view their cars. We were met by Peter - he had all the time in the world to show us any car that we chose (in fact this was about 2 hours) - we looked at several and took them all out for a test drive. His knowledge and patience was perfect, such a genuine person and no hard sell - and was happy to work with us and advise us along the way. Once we had found a lovely Range Rover sport, we then went into the office to complete and was met by Scott. He was lovely too, very genuine and very relaxed, and again extremely knowledgeable - he advised that they needed to service, mot and valet the car so it would be 2 weeks before collection. The car was ready on the day that they had said, it was fully serviced and we noticed that all advisories that had been picked up during the MOT had been rectified - exactly how they advertise themselves. Our car developed a sensor fault, we spoke to scott and again, nothing was too much trouble - There was battle, no argument just the reassurance i needed, they are always easy to get hold of and excellent communication. What an amazing family run business. I have brought from dealers before, i have found them to be the best by far - I have found DSM to to go above and beyond in my opinion (what a refreshing change). Aweful service. Scam Artists!!Avoid this company !Land rovers are lovely but get them from someone else !!Looking back, it's been a scam from the start. I trusted them, thinking they were land rover experts and they fitted cheaper NOT LAND ROVER APPROVED PARTS (an oil pump) one week after purchasing the vehicle as they were planning to fit one before selling the vechile". Little did i know this would then fail within 8 months. The oil leak ended up causing £600 in repairs parts (not including labour).I called them before leaving this review to come to a reasonable agreement... I got shouted at... Just so disappointing."

Peter and Scott are very knowledgeable and helpful. They go above and beyond for their customers and try to help as much as possible. Great service and they know they’re stuff. Great selection of cars.Would definitely recommend this car dealership.

Great service and sales. Very impressed. The after sales service is the best I’ve seen. They clearly care about the reputation of their family business and as such give great pre and post sale service. Highly recommend.
