same as all above reviews total disgrace to the legal profession - i'm a client with a ground rent dispute but living outside of the U.K missed payment due to sale of ground rent without prior notice between 2 parties. Phoned to resolve and after conversation with Dan Thornton who was ENTIRELY UNREASONABLE looks like i will be paying £450+ in additional charges for the sending of a single templated letter..UTTERLY DISGUSTING...AVOID THIS COMPANY!

This function doesn't allow you to give minus stars or non which I would allocate to these vindictive and malicious people.These solicitors are detestable creatures who are predatory hunting in their pack who directly benefit and p deal in sending people to court to extort money out of you. I went to court today and was told I had to pay £5,000 due to initial court papers I never received that were served and sent to my mother's address that I haven't lived at for 15+ years. They overinflated prices because they know that the courts will support them and revel in seeing people suffer. I tried to resolve the incident beforehand and pay at the nominal amount but I got sniggered at down the phone when I called them with there response being that they will be taking me to court. Who knows who will hold these individuals accountable but they will carry the misery they inflict on others with them throughout there lives and proffessions. In my opinion the company are posting positive reviews about themselves. Such an organisation will fold in 12 months merely off the fact they take gumption in extorting money from people and inflating there costs to recoup them at court level. Apparently this firm is now paying people to post fake positive reviews. AVOID AT COSTS AVOID.

Whilst I wanted to fight these parasites who had been employed by their client, for a disputed property charge of £420 for a clean of a washing machine. Yes a washing machine in property that my girlfriend rented. My girlfriend just paid up and wouldn't allow me.. Which I think was a ridiculous amount to pay.

Didn't want to give any stars whatsoever. An absolute disgrace of a company without an ounce of humanity. Just rude and horrible at communication.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING THESE SOLICITORS!!they are are cunning, unresponsive to emails and will not accept any responsibility in communicating to you via the simplest form, in order to slap a penalty fine onto you.The person that I dealt with (Dan Thornton) was very rude and arrogant.I would strongly advise you to use another solicitors firm and not SLC Solicitors.

To be clear I am writing this review as a business owner dealing with this company to progress legal matters. This company fails on every level. Today I rang to chase a reply to an email sent to Analise 10 days ago to progress a legal matter. I'm an existing client. The receptionist advised that Analise was off, to which I asked if she'd been off for 10 days.. to be advised 'no'. To which I asked to be put through to her team as perhaps she,d passed the work on. To be told that they are all working at home and uncontactable. Incredulous I was then told that calls can't be tfr. The quality of the output of this team is dire and previous complaints have not been dealt with .. they simply ignored the complaint in breach of rules. . Clients go elsewhere! This company is the dregs

I believe this solicitors firm are trying to scam people. I have just received an email chasing ground rent after never receiving the actual bills. When asking for evidence they have refused to provide it. I was spoken to extremely rudely by a John Bucknell who then hung up on me after their email says please discuss this letter with us if you have any difficulty. The £500 addition to the ground rent is what’s added to the difficulty and rather than discuss it I was told pay or face court action all contrary to their email. It’s disgusting.

He has something of mine that I have been waiting for almost 2 years and they have not answered my phone calls and have not answered emails to the point using other people's number and get no reply.

Had a lease extension carried out by Rebecca Say who was very professional to deal with, process was all explained in detail, Freeholder chased regularly to ensure timescale was kept to and completion carried out with time to spare. Would certainly use again going forward and recommend.

If you unfortunately have to deal with this company, be prepared to get harassed. They will do everything in or not in their power to make sure money is squeezed out of you. An absolute disgrace to this profession.
