Passed my driving test recently with Russ with zero faults. He is an excellent instructor who is very observant, informative, reassuring and supportive.Lessons and progression are done at a pace that suits you whilst also being constructively challenging to ensure your driving keeps improving.Russ is incredibly professional and always on time without fail, so you always get a full lesson unlike some instructors. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Not the typical instructor that barks at you, this guy has personality and a wicked sense of humor that always puts you at ease. Russ is an amazing instructor. He is very down to earth and has always had patience with me and was okay with me learning at my own pace. Always asked if I was 100% with something or if I wanted to carry on if I was unsure before we moved on. Always made me feel at ease on the roads and helped build my confidence up as each lesson went by. Was always on time to lessons. Helped me be more independent but was always ready to help me if needed or asked. Would definitely recommend.

Genuinely couldn't have passed with anyone else! I have aspergers with serious social anxiety and an almost phobia of driving, Russ was so calm with me, he didn't chatter useless stuff in my ear, he just explained what I needed to do and guided me through it. Super accommodating with what I needed and when I needed. He will push you only to show you that you can do it. Highly recommend him and super grateful for everything he's done for me.

I can’t thank Russ enough for his patience with me over the past couple of years. I was an extremely nervous driver and after previously having an instructor who knocked my confidence even further, it was brilliant to learn to drive with Russ as he put me right at ease despite my anxieties. I passed my driving test today with russ at colwick test centre.This all became possible due to great instructer russ chaplin..he is a great instructer indeed.before this i had an instructer from first driving school.he wasted my alots of money and time.After that i came to russ chaplin driving school,found on google.russ is very professional and he is always on time.he will push you to do your best..always listen to your instructer.if he says you r not ready for test than definitly you r not ready..i strongly recommend russ chaplin driving school for anyone who is looking for instructer learning to drive..thank you so much sir.
