Tudor House Medical Practice

Although most people only feel inclined to leave a review of a health centre if the centre does something wrong, I think it's important to recognise that Tudor House provides a great service under what are difficult conditions. I've seen a number of doctors and other health care professionals from the practice, and all have gone out of their way to listen to me and help where they can. I would thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone lucky enough to live in their catchment area.

I recently joined this practice and 2 blood tests and 3 appointments and all to find out I have to go through it all again. Thank God for Dr Natalia who is just brilliant. The previous Doctor barely even examined me and despite insisting i come back for results and help from her, didn't pick up on some very visible and obvious issues as well as inviting me to come back and then had a 'study day'. But it was a blessing in disquise... I can't praise Dr Natalia enough, thoroughly professional, knowledgable and inquisitive to explore all options. Thank you so much...I was going to change practice based on previous experience, but if she stays I will - she was fantastic!! 3 Stars because of the previous GP, but 10 stars if I could give it, to Dr Natalia!

Whoa! I'm not sure who is on reception this morning but their people skills are shocking. Sad because usually this is a wonderful service. Thought I had medication in but realised I hadn't and they are not due till the 19th. Assumed there may be a box still at the chemist so checked with them but none there. So rang to enquire as I need my medication today. Receptionist barked at me that I do need to order it myself, well yea I know! Tried to explain my predicament but was told it would be issued tomorrow and the call ended abruptly. Had I had chance to ask I know my doctor would have sent it through straight away because he's awesome. Chalking it up to someone having a bad day but it angered me as this practise has been amazing my entire adult life!Rant over! Just be kind people on phones, I was stressed already!

I have a fever, inflamed tonsils, body aches and can’t get out of bed but to get antibiotics out of the gp I need to go there to have a doctor look at my throat. I can’t even shower because I’m this sick but they can’t prescribe antibiotics over telephone call or video consultation. The uk healthcare system is a joke. No other health care system in this world operate like this. That you need to call at 8am and wait on the line for an hour to get through to someone but by then no appointments are left …

Been a patient of the Henry's since the 1970's when Julian Henry's dad was my Doctor,Myself and my family have always been well looked after at the surgery,really good Doctors.

I always get a great service from this practice. As with most doctors they're obviously busy but I've never had a problems getting seen and find the staff friendly and the doctors, nurses, practitioners very helpful and professional

Dr simms, Dr Lloyd, and all other members of staff are lovely! This is the best doctors I’ve been registered at and they’ve helped me so much. However, Dr Henry in particular isn’t very professional and made a joke about my anxiety when I went to him for help. I also suffer from depression and he openly told me that he’ll up my dose of anti depressants because it’s hard to overdose on them. I can only imagine how hard it is to be in this career path, however it shouldn’t affect your professionalism.

Changing to another GP. The office has been messing around with my repeat prescription for over half a year, now. Again, they did not react to my order of repeat prescription. Nasty. Also unable to get a face to face appointment with my GP. Telephone system doesn't work properly. One of the partner GPs is an arrogant, self-centred unempathic whatsit. The second star only because Dr Henry used to be good, in the past.Sadly, it started going all wrong with covid. No surprise here.

I ordered a refill for my prescription on Monday and was told it would be at the pharmacy by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest. I went to the pharmacy on Tuesday and asked for it, for them to say they hadn't received it. I went to the pharmacy again today for them to say it hasn't been sent by the doctor. My medication ran out after Monday and it's not a medication I can just stop taking. They have now said it will be ready to be picked up tomorrow, but, at this point, I highly doubt it. I have been experiencing the negative side effects for not taking the medication for the last two days and haven't had the positive effect of taking the medication. Evidently a practice that practices in malpractice.

Can't leave no stars.Can't get me and my children registered as apparently 12 13 an 17 year old kids need to have identification and need to see the doctor on there own to get registered.Told by 1 member of reception it will be 4 weeks from the initial paperwork going in this then changed to its 4 weeks from all paperwork going in to register.Rude and horrible receptionist on trying to register.Gone to a different doctors registered and get to see them in 2 days no idea why it takes 4 weeks.No parkingMisinformationPoor staff attitudeAnd all this before we have registered.Makes you wonder what the rest of the practice is like and i will never know.Stay away and look at other surgery's.
