Stayed here back in the summer. Park itself was well maintained, lovely and clean, not a drop of litter around. The complex was big, tidy and had lots going on. Every staff member we came in contact with was very polite and welcoming. Big play area out back which was a big hit with the kids on the sunny days! Caravan park is in an excellent location for exploring. Definately returning next year!

Whitley bay holiday park is a perfect place to stay. Not to far from home. The staff were great from reception to complex. The van we stayed in was well maintained and the club was great for the kid's. Facilities were spot on and food was excellent.

My recent stay at a dog-friendly caravan was far from pleasant. The conditions were deplorable. To my horror, I found a human toe or finger nail on the floor, and the bed sheets were covered in hair as if they hadn't been changed between guests. The management offered to clean the place on Saturday, but unsurprisingly, that promise went unfulfilled. I had to leave a day early because I couldn't relax or settle in such unsanitary conditions.I've stayed in many caravans, but I've never encountered one as filthy as this. I had to make an emergency trip to Sainsbury's to buy cleaning supplies and clean the place myself. If you have any standards when it comes to accommodation, especially if you're looking for a dog-friendly option, I strongly advise staying elsewhere. This place was a major disappointment.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Our outside light wasn't working. Engineer called looked at light and said new one required.Later that afternoon an electrician came and installed. Very pleased. Coming back from Newcastle on bus no drop kerb and no crossing over to caravan park. Not the Park's fault. Council should have installed. Solution is to get off bus one stop earlier at front of graveyard use crossing there and use pavement for quarter of a mile to caravan park.

Whitley Bay is a fantastic resort with a stunning sweep of beach and this caravan park is ideally situated to make the most of the location. The staff in the main reception were very friendly and gave an excellent first impression. Aspects of the entertainment complex could be improved however as it was a little tired and understaffed. The welcome from the bar staff wasn't particularly friendly and a simple welcome and smile would go a long way to remedy that.My main gripe was the group of dogs that were roaming free in the grassy play area while we were there with our child. They were allowed to defecate close to the children's play equipment and although the offending faeces was eventually picked up it's still not a good look. Perhaps more signs or staff to put a stop to this could be looked into? Our caravan was booked through Airbnb (Cedar Walk) and unfortunately it wasn't in the best condition. The taciturn communication from the owners also wasn't the best. This wasn't the fault of Parkdean though and we were suitably impressed by the location and atmosphere of the park that we would definitely return, albeit we'd book a caravan directly through Parkdean Resorts.

What a great place, lovely scenery with great places to visit in the locality. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help. The facilities are all excellent even if the beer is not the cheapest, but that's the cost of living for you.

A regular at this holiday park, we all love it! From the staff to the food, drinks, entertainment & everything in between it’s fabulous, right next to the lighthouse too only a 5 minute walk, love the ice cream shop on site, plenty to do in and around the site. I would Definitely recommend

Lovely holiday park, staff are all super friendly and brilliant with kids. The caravan we stayed in was luxurious and the central heating was an added bonus in these colder autumn days. Will be visiting again next year. Can't wait!

Really enjoyed this park . The area is great to explore the local area of Whitley Bay, Newcastle and Northumberland. Staff are friendly and helpful. Caravan was clean and relatively spacious. It is a caravan after all! Good experience all round. Will definitely return.
