Went to Firwood today, the chap that served me went above and beyond to help me. He arranged to have my wood cut so that it would fit in the car to save me delivery fees. Great friendly staff, and good service.my go to place for all my DIY, thanks lads.

Disapointed with delivery,which arrived one day early the required date was on the invoice .This caused the elderly lady much distress especially because it was left on her front lawn. surgest before goods are delived dispatch check there notes.

Great staff, friendly informative and very patient with helpful tips would highly recommend and price wise beats Hugh's Gray's round the corner eg I bought outside garden tap standard half inch Gray's changes me over 8.50 and firwood had same product just over 4 quid need I say anymore.

Firwood is usually my first option, but I find it quite frustrating that the website doesn't have an online shop to allow me to browse products and purchase for delivery without sending messages back and forth or visiting a yard. I realise you're mainly set for trade but when it's accessible to public it makes no sense.

Friendly and always helpful, professional advice from Alan & Stuart in store, Dougie- on forklift, and environmentally responsible yard too, so helpful if you need tips e.g. on flagging, filling joints etc, latest products e.g. Nexus Fusion. Bonus here is yard is well planned, lots of parking, easy to walk into shop, look round etc. Drivers Mick & John do deliveries in super trucks, and contact you re. timings & where to drop grit sand or gravel exactly. Great job Firwood, thank you.
