I can't recommend Naomi enough. I had struggled with my dog Leo since I got him in 2020. He's a rescue and arrived with anxiety issues, however these were then exasperated by Lockdown and my own personal issues. It all resulted in a frightened, highly reactive, aggressive dog who could not interact with anyone or thing beyond me. He had shown aggression towards several people, and bitten friends & family.I was desperate. I'd tried various dog trainers with no luck, and was beginning to lose hope. After a long introductory phone call Naomi came to visit us and she could immediately see what no one else could. That Leo was so stressed, anxious, and wrapped up in his fear that he was unable to take in anything, let alone learn anything. He had previously masked his anxiety to 'get through' training, but was unable to take in information as he was so tightly wound up. Instead of forging ahead Naomi broke everything down, and started with the simplest things, just being in the same space as him, gaining his trust, helping him to experience the world and his environment without utter fear.She helped me and Leo to realise that we could both improve together, and find a way forward, one where Leo did not have to be afraid of everything. She showed him that with the right training tools he could challenge his fear, and learn to behave in a way that made life less anxiety inducing for him. She took the time to get to know him, and allowed his needs (and mine) dictate the training program. She really listened and understood what we both needed.I genuinely cannot thank her enough. Before we met I was in fear that I may have had to take that awful decision to have Leo put to sleep, but now both Leo and I have a new lease of life. Naomi is genuinely a life saver. ❤️
