Houdini's Escape Room Experience - Southampton city centre

We had a great time doing the Extinct room. It was our first escape room and Natasha was a lovely game master - she was friendly and made sure we knew what to do, and was on hand to give us tips when we needed them! Really good experience overall, will definitely be back

Our first escape room yesterday and we really enjoyed it. We did the Creepy Carnival at Southampton and didn’t know what to expect from it but had a really great time. It was trickier than I expected but for next time I’d have a much better idea of what to look out for and the way the games work. We had a guy called Matt running our game for us, and he was brilliant - giving us nudges whenever we needed them and he was really enthusiastic about the game, and really made our performance as good as it could have been. Would definitely come back and do another escape room here.

Escape room was a lot of fun and the good amount of challenging. Staff were amazing and really got into it and helped keep the momentum. Natasha ran our game and was really helpful and energetic. Would come back and recommend :)

For my Birthday, my family and I did the Creepy Carnival escape room with Freya and we really enjoyed it! She was an excellent Games Master who made the whole experience a lot of fun! We would definitely recommend it as something to go and do!

We did the titanic escape room in Southampton with Jordan as our host. We booked it for my sister and brother-in-law's birthdays but really we booked it for my titanic mad son. We were a little worried that he wouldn't be able to do the puzzles as it said 12+ and he's only 10 but he absolutely loved it and solved at least 2 of the puzzles himself! We had a brilliant time and our host was excellent ringing through only a couple of times to offer support which we appreciated as we've done lots of escape rooms in the past and it sometimes feels like the host tries to help too much and takes away from the experience, so thank you Jordan. We will definitely look into doing more rooms at houdinis. Great value for money and they let us take our 3 month old into the room with us for free so both of us could experience the room!

Perfect place to spend time puzzle and clue solving. With our first time going to an escape room we did not know what to expect. Amazing atmosphere and our theme was excellently built up by our game master Fynn. They were wonderful service which notably made our experience even greater as the two times our team needed help, they arrived at the perfect time. Whole team definitely recommends and will be back soon to try another room.

Absolutely brilliant me and a friend completed the creepy carnival with under 2 mins left on the clock, had heaps of fun lots of laughs along side the brain teasing challenges. Will 100% be doing this again and big up Catherine our games master, brilliant voice actor for the room it really tied the whole thing together. 100% recommend.

We played extinct with 7 adults, a 10yr old and two little under 4s roaming around (made the game harder for sure). And we managed to escape with a few seconds to spare. Georgie was our game master she was enthusiastic and patient in explaining everything. Would love to go back and play the other themes. Thank you!!

We had an absolutely fantastic time today at Houdini's. We booked Room 13 for a friend's birthday (for our first ever escape room too!) and checkout was super straight forward. Turned up 15 minutes before our start time; went through the health and safety paperwork and had a lovely briefing from Georgie. Then all of a sudden...Babs the Receptionist appeared to guide us to our room.It was super fun; the right level of mild spookiness and challenge and would definitely visit Houdini's again for another experience.
