I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend for his birthday.Normally I'm not really a meat eater and especially no steak but I booked it for my boyfriends birthday because he loves steak.But after that visit, I couldn't stop thinking about the food there because it was so good and I also enjoyed the Fillet Steak that I had so much! It was such a nice experience cooking your own meat on the lava stone and it was so much fun to do so. I can't wait to come back to eat there again.Service was amazing, very welcoming and helpful. They explained how everything works and gave us suggestions on how to handle the lava stone.A little nice extra that they offer is if you book a table on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after 6PM, you're able to book it with 15% off all your Mains which is a nice plus. But either way, the food is definitely worth the money.When you enter the building you get into a kind of Pub/Bar only for drinks and you have to go upstairs to get to the restaurant, so don't be irritated at first.I can definitely recommend this place to all the steak lovers or for people who like to give it a try, as you see, even if I don't really like to eat steak I ended up loving it.

Absolutely beautiful cut of steak, wish we had room for dessert but couldn't stomach another bike. Definitely get lots of bang for your bank. Staff were warm, welcoming, funny. Will definitely be back. Love the decor, some of the most delicious cocktails I have ever tasted.

What a fantastic surprise by my daughter for myself and her sister.The food was exceptional no complaints there. A truly wonderful experience in Rugby. The service was slow on the drinks and forgetful. Once pointed it was resolved very quickly with apologiesThe cocktails are to die for, and a rather boozy lunchIf you are not too mobile there is a downstairs terrace that can be booked in advance.

Amazing steak and fantastic food. Although it's not exactly a 'cheap' meal, it's still very good value for what you get. Probably one of the best restaurants in Rugby.The Irish bar on the ground floor is also fantastic with great music.

So me and my partner booked a last minute meal for the steak experience on the rocks. It was AMAZING! We had such a nice time being little chefs at our table and had the pleasure of being served by Jacob who was so down to earth and kind. We will most definitely be back with family soon!xo

Our recent dining experience left us with a mix of feelings. The moment we arrived, we were promptly informed about the necessity to vacate our table by 21:00 due to reservations for other people, which wasn’t said in the most welcoming way. The service from certain staff members was wonderful, contributing positively to our overall experience. However, the downside was the presence of some staff who came across as unprofessional and even rude at times.While I appreciate the need for certain protocols, the decision to impose a £25 per head charge for individuals who failed to show up seemed fairly harsh. This policy, combined with the rigid approach to the 21:00 departure, led to an awkward and uncomfortable situation for many of us. Handling these matters with more finesse and understanding would definitely enhance the overall customer experience.

Food was excellent would recommend the swordfish and monkfish plus the macaroni cheese was amazing
