THE place to train BJJ in Sheffield. Do yourself a favor and come down for a free introductory class. You won't regret it. There are plenty of classes to accommodate your schedule. The techniques taught are second to none. And the gym is one big family where everyone supports each other along their BJJ journey. Whether you're just looking for a good workout, or to compete, this place has what you need to succeed.

I have been attending this academy for just over a month now and can honestly say it's the best decision I've made in a long time. The atmosphere in the gym is welcoming, encouraging and respectful. The Classes are structured and usefully spread out throughout the week (will easily accommodate a busy schedule) and the gym is very well organised and clean. Our professor (Gareth) is a patient and meticulous teacher.Take a dive and sign up for your first trial class!I would recommend gracie barra neepsend without hesitation.

THE BEST BJJ GYM!!! If you are passing Sheffield or live in the area Gracie Barra Neepsend is a must go. Not only will you be improving your health and fitness but the team makes sure you have an amazing experience learning a new skill. The classes are tailored to your individual skill level, making it super fun and easy for those with no BJJ experience to step onto the mat.Professor Gareth and Nush (Gym owners) are amazing people and really helped me feel comfortable coming to the gym for the first time.If could give more stars I would. NO BETTER TIME TO START THAN NOW!!

Fantastic school to learn BJJ. Especially for beginners, instructors are friendly and welcoming and really understand everyone's different needs. There's no push to make you do what you aren't capable of and there is always an encouraging voice during training. Definitely get involved!

Best place for Jui jitsu,, super friendly people! Our professor is a really amazing teacher.I’ve met some really great people there that I now class as my friends, probably one of the best things Ive ever done, even starting at 42 years old.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is Brilliant Self Defence Martial Art. This is Fantastic Club to train. Members in this club are very helpful. Outstanding Teacher Professor Gareth Neale, and other Instructors as wel as Great and Helpful Administrator Nush! I always feel welcomed here by everyone. Atmosphere here is very Positive, Happy, Respectful & Friendly as well as you can learn Allot. I would recommend this club & Martial Art to anyone!

Amazing place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! The Professor is a great teacher and the whole club/team is friendly and welcoming. You can feel your Jiu Jitsu get better as you work through the curriculum and there’s plenty of classes throughout the week at all times. Can’t recommend Gracie Barra Neepsend enough!!!Darren

I've trained with Professor Gareth 'Gazzy' Neale for 6 years now. I've competed multiple times both internationally and nationally at the highest level and I owe it all to Gazzy's teaching. Take note I am not a professional competitor but Gazzy is at such a level that he can turn a hobbyist to compete with a pro. If you're looking for basic self defence, you'll get your money's worth and a life changing experience. Gazzy will ALWAYS find time to help his students. Whether you're looking to becoming a pro, or just taking a new hobby, getting your kid into BJJ, I can't recommend a better place and a better instructor.
