The best Poke place I have tried so far in England!Let me start by saying I appreciate that they let you customize your own bowl. Having choices is always a win in my book. The ingredients were super fresh, and let me tell you, that sesame sauce was out of this world. And the sweet potato fries and brown rice combo was pure perfection.On top of that you have to appreciate the price. I only paid around 12£ for a bowl and the portion size was quite generous! Personally I think that's a steal, especially in a place like Brighton where prices can be crazy!I can't forget to give a huge shoutout to Orlando. This guy knows how to make you feel right at home. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.I'm already planning my next visit to try out their other tempting options. I've got my eye on the sushi next time because it looked seriously good. Can't wait to be back!

I am a journalist and recognised as a part of the Local Guides here on Google Reviews. I am very impressed with the customer service and food from this restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner at Tropical Sushi on a weekday, I extremely recommend this place. Lived in Brighton for many years and I believe this should be embraced by all visiting and living here. The food is amazing and every single dish is made with lots of care and tastes delicious! Very filling and healthy plates with a range of dietary requirements.I advise to look at the menu and book ahead of time, as it is a family business and everything is prepared fresh! I loved that they have an open kitchen, very honest and you can see exactly what is happening behind the dishes.The atmosphere is very lovely and cosy. We mentioned Brazilian background and heard Brazilian music on the playlist shortly after. Very attentive to their customers. A humble local family business worth investing into.

Nice flavour but there is no sense of freshness. Rolls were stuck to the plate and therefore easily destroyed when picked up. Sushi-taco is a must-try! Nice idea conceptually, but you won't get a sense of both dishes in one, it is rather something else, but nevertheless quite pleasant. Although, very small in portion and as a result not good value for money. You have to pay in advance which is always a bad sign.

Looked up on Google and TripAdvisor reviews, was not disappointed.Amazing fusion sushi, highlight is definitely the Salmon Crudo Taco, you've GOT to try it!!

Gotta love when you discover a cozy place where the people is not only extremely friendly and welcoming but also the food is amazing! The combination of flavours and textures are incredible. Vegetarian options are available too and not shy away in flavour either!100% coming back! 100% recommended!

It is a very good mixture of two different cuisines. They are very polite and friendly. We are enjoying once a week. If you like Mexican and Japanese food, then you should try it.

amazing food, so well made - the textures were spot on, the vegan sushi is better than some i've had in high-end places! And reasonably priced! Definitely try this place even if you're skeptical of the fusion, it's a new favourite for us.

Decided to try this place due to very good reviews, I was sooo disappointed. I ordered Dragon tempura roll, the amount and quality of salmon inside was unbelievably poor. They used a tiny little grey part of the salmon which should not have been used in sushi at all (I know this as I am a chef) . And if you still decide to order from this place make sure you add soy sauce, wasabi and ginger to your order as they don’t come with sushi like they normally would in other places. It’s like paying extra for salt and pepper. What a joke.
