We’ve ordered here for years but haven’t done in quite a while. My daughter and her boyfriend came over after we’d all had a tough day so thought we’d order a takeaway. We picked Oriental Express and wish we hadn’t.After ordering we were told it would be 45 mins for delivery, after waiting for an hour and 15 mins I phoned again only to be told the delivery driver was just about to leave. We are only two miles away from the takeaway and it took the driver another 45 mins to arrive so 2 hours in total.When he arrived I asked what he was going to do to compensate us as this had ruined our evening and all I was told is that I might get a discount if I ordered again. What a joke, why would I.Needless to say the food was cold and had cost just short of £50.00.Avoid at all cost, the customer service and food is shocking, total shame from how it used to be!

I've been eating Chinese food for many years and this is by far the worst I've ever had. Beef was really chewy, black pepper sauce had no pepper in it (tasteless) chips over cooked, rest was edible thankfully otherwise I'd of gone hungry. Not sure if been taken over recently but I wont be visiting again. The chinese takeaway on chester green or the one on Ashbourne Rd in derby are significantly better!

Sent the wrong food on an order over £100, was very rude on the phone and refused to send replacement. Probably for the best since the food we did get was rotten. No flavour, tough chicken and runny curry sauce. Avoid.

I will never order from here again, the food is bland the rice taste like packet rice and the customer service is absolutely vile. I requested for the food to be collected and a refund and they put the phone down absolutely disgusting

Awful. Over cooked hardly any chicken in the Chowmein also very dry. Chips awful over cooked or old. Chicken wings over cooked or used old oil. Spare ribs over cooked or old oil used . Worse Chinese I have ever had. Will not use again.

Ordered over £120 worth of food , items wrong in the order and when I called to ask for a replacement I was told they were to busy. Very poor customer service

Disgusting service. Extremely unorganised and no professionalism whatsoever. They had no idea about my order, it was already an hour late, and they still couldn't even get a single driver to deliver it. There should be an option for a minus star, 1 star is still too generous. Don't give your money to these people.

Chips over cooked and dry inedible.Spare ribs were just bone with no meat on. Pointless.The egg fried rice was disgusting.Crispy chicken balls were about the only decent things.After giving them chance after chance for years it is time to stop wasting money here and order from somewhere else.Oh and if you order anything with vegetables you get mostly onion.Rubbish food.
