Came here for brunch. Really nice place with lots of plants to see! The food and drinks were good. A little on the pricey side but still good nonetheless. Staff friendly and helpful. Can pay with Amex here too! Also good toilet here!

Ahoy there, culinary explorers! Fancy a trip down Food Blunder Lane? Buckle up, grab your forks and knives, and let's dive into the wobbly world of St Kew Farmshop & Cafe. Trust me, you're in for a foodie adventure that's more roller coaster than a romantic gondola ride.Nestled in a place so easy to find that even my dog could direct you, St Kew Farmshop & Cafe makes itself at home just a hop, skip, and a questionable hot dog away from Wadebridge to St Kew Highway. Plenty of parking! That’s a start! Oh, did I mention? There's a farm shop too. A very, VERY small one. It's so crammed, you'll find more elbow room in a tin of sardines. The café? Well, think of it as a room that was dusted but not cleaned, furnished but not cozy, and filled with friendly-ish folks who are sort of like the weather in Cornwall - unpredictable, a bit gloomy, and sometimes with a chance of grumpiness.Speaking of grumpiness, ever had one of those moments when you're being more helpful than a Swiss Army knife and people just brush you off? I told a waitress about their wildly swinging waste gate, ready to dent some poor soul's car. Her reaction? More dismissive than a cat presented with a bowl of generic brand food. Even my Nan chimed in with a disappointed wow

Dropped in to the St Kew Farm shop again and yet again blown away by the food. Fabulous Smoked Haddock Chowder for lunch. Such sweet Crunchy sweetcorn complementing the perfectly cooked Haddock. Breakfast a couple days later and so good I had to have two. The mushrooms, spinach and potatoe hash on Sourdough toast were to die for but just enough room for a Ciabatta bacon roll too! Delightful.

Really nice small scale farm shop with a wide range of produce and an excellent range of impressive house plants. Friendly staff, very good food, and relaxed atmosphere.

I’ve eaten in some of Cornwalls most prestigious sea food restaurants and I can honestly say none of them touched the quality of the fish I was served here yesterday for lunch! Amazing quality hake presented in the most beautiful way! Best value for money fish dish I’ve had! Hats off to all the staff for creating such an amazing lunch experience. I’m local so I will definitely be visiting again soon!

Been here a few times in the past and the food is generally very good. Popped in today however at 8:50am and was confronted by the redhead hippy owner who abruptly stated “WE DON’T OPEN TILL 9!” and that was it, no sorry or apologies beforehand. It’s a shame because it’s a nice establishment but there’s no reason to go back now, perhaps if she spent more time practicing her customer service skills rather than caking herself in makeup she’d have returning customers. She also has an annoying little white Pomeranian constantly running around the establishment which begs for food whilst you’re trying to eat which is incredibly unprofessional and irritating to say the least, get rid of it.

I absolutely love coming here every time I come to Cornwall. The deli shop is a delight to look round as is the new plant and homeware shop addition. The cafe serves really delicious coffee, especially their oat flat whites - def the best I’ve tasted in this area. Their selection of cakes and pastries are always a delight - especially the frangipane cake, morning buns and glazed doughnuts. I tried one of their stacked focaccia sandwiches with tender beef and peppery mustard cucumber salad yesterday which was dreamy. The cafe is a lovely place to spend time, aesthetically very pleasing with a calm and airy atmosphere filled with plants and wooden furniture. It’s a great place to spend time reading, pick up a gift, find interesting ingredients or shelter from a wet day. The garden outside is beautiful too. All round fab place to visit!
