Had two Bao, the classic barbecue pulled pork was amazing, the crispy Peking duck was a little bland but still nice. Overall good experience, would come back

First time trying this place after several times passing and have to say the food was tremendous. I tried the Korean bbq pulled pork loaded fries and they were delicious. The fries were well seasoned and crispy whilst there was plenty of sauces and a tonne of pulled pork. Packed with flavours and lots of meat and the guy serving was very cheerful. Overall fantastic place to grab a quick bite and will be returning to try the gyozas and bao buns.

I took my little lad out for the day today (I don’t get much time with him these days after his mother left me) and we stumbled upon this hidden gem in the grainger market. The sweet aromas of Asia caught me upon turning the corner and I knew this was the place for me. The server and chef megan was absolutely fantastic, and she wasn’t bad at her job either. We each sampled some bao buns and gyozas and we weren’t disappointed. Absolutely beautiful Reuben. Tell your friends. Get down to bao down.

Delicious Bao Buns, particularly the pork and chicken ones. Fries were delicious. Service was quick and very friendly and a nice little seating area to sit in. Great place!

I was really looking forward to trying this place and it didn't disappoint at all, I went for the spicy pork option which was incredible.

Meh. Looking forward to it but my Vegan oyster mushroom and tofu bao was fairly bland and over dominated by hoisin sauce. There was no contrast in flavours. Some pickles and chillis on top might have helped. At £9 or was it £9.50 it was expensive for what it was and I left feeling hungry.

The bao buns were the best I've had. Korean pork and pekking duck were my two sampled but there's a wider selection of bao as well as gyoza and dressed chips. My partner had the katsu prawn and pekingese duck bao.The gentleman serving was very friendly and service was quick even during the lunch rush.

We stopped off here whilst wandering Grainger Market and thought we would try some bao buns. My wife was also drawn to the katsu chicken. Unfortunately they had only just opened and didn’t have any rice yet so my wife went for the katsu chicken with chips instead. The guys that served us were very friendly and chill. They clearly have a passion for food because we could here them chatting about different food creations that they could try. The service was also pretty quick. We liked how they had some interesting fillings of buns. We went with bbq Korean pork, crispy peking duck, katsu chicken & teriyaki chicken. Now, bao buns are often a hit or a miss but these are top notch! My favourite was the duck, closely followed by the pork but all buns had a perfect texture and the fillings were fresh and delicious. The loaded katsu chicken fries were very good!! The caramelisation on the chicken was wonderful and the sauce was so tasty! The chips were also pretty good. You often find with loaded fries that too much emphasis is put on the filling and the chips themselves are disappointing but these were quality! The only slight criticism is the price. You could argue £9.50 for 2 bao buns is quite steep but it was that tasty that I can’t complain. They also gyozas with a mixture of fillings. We’ll maybe give them a try next time.
