Family of 12 went for a festive meal.Food was lovely. Some had Carvery's and some ordered other choices. Food was hot, tasty, plentiful and really good value.Puddings wow wow lovelyThe signature cakes are really niceWe couldn't believe the size of them.We opted for the chocolate brownie.It was lovely and the size of it was enough for three people not one.Staff was lovely. Helpful, friendly and welcoming.The best carvery we have had.Thank you so much.We will be back some

We booked for 6 adults and 2 children for our daughter's birthday but we're not exactly sitting altogether as we were put in like back to back alcove seating,so if we needed to talk to one another we had to pop round to speak to eachother.my nephew when booked was told that they were almost fully booked and that was the only seating available for our party,but Once we arrived that was not the case for the time of our booking in fact it was quite empty for at least the first hour or so that we were there.food was good but the lager and I tried all three on offer was very flat on which was served from the front of the bar.I did notice that at the side of the bar where the other beer taps were and also where the locals were drinking and not dining,were getting a much better pint of lager with a full bodied head on there lager unlike ours flat as a pancake with No head at all.I would definitely eat their again especially as it is a very short bus ride or ride away and have been there on many occasions but would want to know what the best lager is or want the same lager that the locals are getting, incidentally this is not the first time that we have he'd flat lager there.so be warned if it is flat hand it back and politely tell them I am sorry but I won't be drinking that explaining that it is flat and could I have a decent one,it your right as the customer.

We was on table 10 for my amazing partners birthday. We was served by a young lady called Darcy and the service was absolutely brilliant she is a lovely waitress. Also would like to point on Ben behind the meat counter was brilliant and really patient! Would really recommend!

Too tired to cook after arriving home from our holiday, we were quickly seated. Service at the tills & carvery were quick. Staff are very friendly, D'Arcy was our waitress. Very polite & friendly. Great way to ease our way back out of holiday mode
