This is the worst car rental company. I booked a car and paid in advance, but they couldn't provide it. I would never recommend dealing with this company. They don't follow any laws. I couldn't go to a very important meeting and lost a lot of money because of Europcar's irresponsibility.

Do not touch: a bunch of jokers. The manager declared wrongly 3 times I was American because of my reservation. Instead of a price of GBP 40 agreed in the online reservation, he said he would have to charge GBP 185.Congratulations Europcar: I went next to your competitor, at a much cheaper rate, and will never use you again.

Excellent service. The van was exactly what l needed. No fuss pick up and drop off. Michael was really helpful and checked the van back in efficiently and with a friendly attitude. I have used Europcar in Oxford on numerous occasions and l will continue to do so.

Booked my car prior through an agency, I got all the confirmation from both the agency and Europcar as well. But Europcar regret to give the booked car due to improper reason. They want my International Driving License to submit even though I had my Valid UK driving license. Contacted both the customer services spoke with 5 to 6 agents & wasted my 5hours . My entire plan got cancelled & I didn’t even get my refund back.Zero customer Service. Such a bad car rental I’ve ever seen.Thieves..!Be aware..!This EUROPCAR should shut, instead of cheating people.Never recommend EUROPCARS. Never!

Do not use, absolute thieves. They were lying from the offset in the office, i waited an extra hour as car wasnt ready without an apology, all staff on phones on social media not caring about customers waiting.I took out insurance because of their threats, even then the car was brought back in same condition and was signed off by a europecar staff member only to be told 5 days later theres damage and charged me, didnt even say what damage, worst company ever, cheating all customers should not be allowed in this day, im going to the ombudsman

Absolute sham of a company. I've had issues in the past with them providing substandard hire vehicles on the day compared to what I booked and paid for and today takes the cake.Our own van blew up on us yesterday, so we needed another last minute for the weekend. They confirmed a booking this afternoon, then cancelled it a while later. However it will take TWO WEEKS to return the money. In the meantime, other vans in the area are now fully booked, and we've been forced to take the only other option available in Oxford at over THREE TIMES the price. And have to pay out for this second van ON TOP of the money wasted with this scummy company.The reason they gave for hiring out vans they don't have? Because they've just run out of MOT and they can't get them booked in immediately, but they're still showing as available" on a system that has no idea. Any idiot could have worked out that you don't wait until the day it runs out to try to book it in

First and last time using them. Stay away from them. They claim I caused damage to hired van. I made photos when I picked it up and it was already like that. After my complaint they checked history of the vehicle and turned out that specific damage was already recorded before. The other damage they claim they found, they had to make a really close up picture to able see something but you can tell it is tiny and probably was there before only no one noticed it. It feels like they try to find excuses to charge for extra money. The car was blowing dust in my face when I turned on the fan/ac so I couldn't use it-handy in summer time, isn't it? There was a pretty old looking sandwich leftover between the seats and a fistfull of nails and screws in the cargo area. It wasn't clean at all. Then I was told to write a dispute email to a given address, but seems to be that address is not exists, I was given the wrong I guess.

They booked me but they didn’t have a car for me. I ended up with an electric car. Total nightmare for charging. Almost impossible to find charging points in Oxford. The one available are way too slow. Rubbish. I went there next day and they refused any other car.
