Groobarbs Wild Farm

Been getting the weekly Groobox for a few months now, and have to express how much we LOVE both the box and service. We have tried so many veg box providers over the years and never had the variety and quality that we do with our Groobox. You can find out what's coming in advance (and order additional items/make swops), but I like the element of surprise to get the creative cooking juices flowing -- every week is a delivery of delight and possibilities and we're never disappointed!

Excellent concept, this is a rustic delight, delivering fresh seasonal produce.All the courses had a nice balance of savoury, sweet, sharp, and textures. Excellent friendly service, we had cider from Dunham Massey , red wine from Staffordshire, the hibiscus lemonade was a treat. Menus change weekly. Well worth trying this rustic eatery.

Excellent first veg box from Groobarbs. Looking forward to many more. Thoroughly enjoyed making a chicken pot pie with some of the contents as soon as it arrived. Quality and freshness was really good.

I really wanted to rave about this place, the delivery idea plus it being fresh was fabulous. However my second delivery and all the soft fruits went moldy within two days. I cannot afford that sort of waste so cancelled my subscription.

Second wonderful visit in the past month, this most recent time as a party of 14 for the Christmas lunch menu. Groobarbs were fabulous throughout the booking process, accommodating of all the dietary requirements in our group including dairy-free, gluten-free and vegetarian requests.We were looked after on the day by Ethan who explained every dish in great detail and ensured those with additional dietary needs were perfectly catered to throughout. He was fantastic.As for the food, this was just as fabulous as the service with every course being a complete treat. The fact you’re sat overlooking where it’s grown making it all the more special.Most of our party hadn’t been to Groobarbs before but we all said we’d be back. So lucky to have such culinary delights on our doorstep!

Lovely spot in the Cheshire countryside.The menu is a seasonal one picked fresh from their farm with local meat. Seating on long tables so you may be sat next to someone you don't know. But I believe you can ask for a table for 2. If your a couple but I don't know why you would .Recommend.

Oh my word!!! My second time dining here and it is just amazing. Super fresh veg, innovative recipes by the chef. Great staff, Beautiful place.I tell everyone I know about it.Plus I get my First Groobarbs Veg Box on Wednesday, Can't wait.

Great veggies delivered to your door. Easy to pause change cancel.We re very very happy with our veg box, its good value and delivered!! Love the variety..I cant understand why people buy veg from SuperMarkets..
