Just attended the cider and wine festival having been for the previous few years. On arrival we were told to camp close together to ensure that there was enough space for the other campers so we did, however the camping field was only about 1/4 full throughout the entire event. On the first day the bar ran out of the premium cider and there appeared to be only one wine on sale which we thought for a vineyard was a bit of a poor show and the customer service at the bar was very bad.We thought that the performers were nowhere near the quality of previous years and they seemed to have the same program for both Saturday and Sunday which for people who attended the entire weekend was very poor.Given how good the festival has been previously (even last year when it rained for the whole weekend) this years attendance was very low and lacking much atmosphere.I appreciate that the vineyard has recently changed ownership but for an event like this more effort needs to be put in.Tony.

The tour was a gift, on arriving we were told to sit down were there was tea and coffee while we wait, we weren’t expecting to pay for these but a coffee was £2! The tour was packed to the brim with customers, the guide was very knowledgable and made herself heard, we found the walk round interesting but it was a shame the distillary was not in action. The wine tasting was minimal (even to the point where an arranged taxi to and from the venue was not really required) as was the meal, we had a glass Of wine with our ‘meal’ which we then were charged £4 per glass for on exit... we found and felt that £25 per head was not utilzed by the owners for the attendee, it was extremely penny pinching and we felt very unpampered on a Day we were very much looking forward to, it’s a shame that profit was the main agenda and not customer experience or service.

Went on the lunch tour today with my partner. It was a nice morning/afternoon but didn’t feel the tour was very informative, the lady running the tour was very helpful and upbeat but the content of the tour wasn’t particularly interesting. The wine tasting was ok but they call you up a table at a time for the lunch, we happened to be the last table and were left with slim pickings as the other people on the tour had eaten a majority of the food.

Good wines - the staff were however very unflexible. This is what and how we do things. We asked to join a tour of the winery and were told - No - you've not booked so we don't have lunch for you. Appreciate that they have bookings - but we just wanted to see the winery - not join the lunch etc. And then when we asked to have a cup of tea in the cafe we were told - you have to leave within 30 minutes. I understand the winery has changed hands. I really hope the new owners have a better attitude. We've not been back - but may consider. Coming from Cape Town we used to go to wineries at least once a month and it's sad that a place with beautiful scenery like this is not accessible."

Relaxing in the sun, tasting English wine. Hard to beat it! Wines are expensive, but the coffee shop and the walks around the vines are a nice way to pass the time. To improve? Maybe something for kiddies to do...

Absolute joke of a company! having booked a tour with this company and having to cancel due to my fiance having to go for an emergency operation on his appendix i wanted to re arrange 48 hours before, 48hours should be plenty of time to change a booking, they have now said i need to pay /£15 to change it???? what the hell happened to customer services, i would never book with this company again!!!! stay well clear, there are plenty of other vineyards around.

We went to the winery on a trip with WRIGHT'S Coaches from Wroxham Norfolk .On arrival we had coffee and then were taken on tour of vine's and all aspects of the winery, everything explained to us by our guide ( I think his name was Tony ) sorry if that is wrong . We then had the tastings which were very well organised. A very enjoyable lunch followed . All the staff we had contact with were very pleasant and helpful . It was a very enjoyable day .
