Aspire Lounge Manchester Terminal 1
Unfortunately a poorly managed airport lounge in Manchester Airport.Food was very limited, only a curry and macaroni cheese which were both pretty bland and limited salad options. Drinks are complimentary except for prosecco & champagne.Size is quite large in terms of finding an empty place but A/C did not work properly and it was quite warm inside. Not recommended if you’ve any other options here.

Let down by the staff. I was travelling with my mother who requires wheelchair assistance but I decided to take on that responsibility myself. We went up to the lounge and was initially greeted by a staff member cleaning the glass door. Had a complete blank expression when I mentioned that we were travelling by a particular airline and asked whether this was this the correct lounge ( I was told different airlines have different lounges). The reception desk was behind the door and the lady said she would have to check. Eventually squeezing through the door and after confirming that we were travelling Business Class, we were “let in”.I then looked for the quietest spot out of the way and sat down and parked the wheelchair next to our seats. Due to personal reasons we not able to sample the food. But the worst thing was when a female member of staff decided, without warning push the wheelchair right into the corner where we were already in and at one point pushing it over my foot. Saying I have other passengers that need the seats next to us!! Most of the place was empty and she decided that it had to be right next to us. I didn’t have a problem with that whatsoever but it was the lack of common courtesy and politness.Staff training required at the very least. The lounge itself is tidy and clean. However, my experience was somewhat disappointing.Just hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I've had a bit of a break from lounges recently and was shocked by the difference. Although the seating is lovely, with convenient charging points, it's a bit odd having to go outside to use publicly accessible toilets... and most good and drink was chargeable, which wasn't particularly clear. There was free soup, juice and coffee but the menu of food, alcoholic drinks and cocktails all had a cost.

It's a very busy place, really kind and helpful staff! Only one thing to mention there's no effective Aircon. One mobile airc is not enough on a hot summer day.

We visited the lounge at Manchester airport terminal 1 on Monday 13th November arriving at about 9.15 am.The lounge wasn't busy however quite a few tables had not been cleared from previous guests crockery, the lounge looked messy. We cleared a table ourselves and sat down, we had comfortable seats with a great view but the table was damaged on the top.The food selection was very poor! Hot food was scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes and hash browns. No bacon or sausage, no bread. There was cereals and yogurts, mini croissants and mini pan aux chocolate ( very few pastries available and several were burnt). After about 20 minutes some bacon was brought out along with some bread cakes, still no sausage. The bar was extremely poor, only 1 non alcohol lager available(the only other non alcohol drinks was pop). Lots of the drinks had to be paid for (£3 for Old Mout cider).Very disappointing and not the quality I expect from an airport lounge. Perhaps the was a one off or is this the standard now?Definitely not value for money.

Sorry to say I have never visited an airport lounge So badly managed. The only offering was curry or Macroni and rice, empty container of soup , no bread available no fruits, the salad bar was looking empty, asked for bread non available, dirty tables not clean, the only positive was the lady on reception very warm and welcoming. Lady behind the bar didn’t give a sh…..So many staff but no customer service inside !By all accounts seems to be a lot of poor feedback about this lounge!Hi Lee. Thanks for your comments. We will pass them on to the lounge manager to investigateI’m guessing that’s the response ?

The lounge has various different types of seating and a quiet area without kids for relaxing. The staff were friendly and good at keeping everything clean. The food and drink options were limited and disappointing. The toilets are outside in the hallway and not great. The air-conditioning could be cooler.

One of the bigger airport lounges, but nothing special. The food offering was very limited and the quality of the food quite poor. I ended up eating a few pastries and a cooked breakfast. There weren't any facilities to make toast, so it was a cooked breakfast with bread, which was a little weird.A limited option on drinks. Some free, some with a fee. With a long bank of seating looking out to the planes, this should keep young kids entertained, watching the planes take-off and land.
