Forest Park Golf Club

All I can say is, the food and service when I first went to this place was amazing. Because of this I re booked for me and my family of 25 people. All was going great, deposit payed and menu choices were given. I was then called and asked to pay the full amount of every persons meals before the date we were booked in. This confused me as i payed a deposit and have never had to pay the full meal price upfront. I spoke to a woman called Nichola who was extremely rude to me when I questioned the payment upfront. This made me feel unwelcome to the place and so I have been forced to make the decision not to go for the meal and I have asked for my deposit back 4 weeks before we were meant to have the meal. I am still awaiting the deposit refund and I am expecting the full deposit back.

Played the 18hole Old Fosse course today off the yellows.It was in excellent condition and is a very flat parkland, tree lined course.Excellent test of golfing skills.Some of the holes are very long even off the yellows 460yds+ par 4's; 18th was a 560yds par 5.I would recommend a visit to all.The clubhouse looks quite modern and the Pro shop is well equipped for most tastes.All the staff were very friendly and polite.I'd visit again with hesitation

20 golfers joined seniors open on tue this week.We all enjoyed the course even in the rain.Already booked for next year.Well Done to all the staff.

Great course and greens/fairway were in great condition. As other comments have stated, a tricky course with a number of dog legs and hazards to challenge you. If you enjoy a quiet round and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature (esp. squirrels), you will love this place

Cracking Foss course, very tight, challenging, in a very pretty setting. Seriously wet for early August, but we'll go back when summer arrives :)

Deceptively tricky course. Flat long fairways, lined by trees and bunker hazards. Excellent condition with nice clubhouse. Food was outstanding, british fare. Had a great day in group visit and thinking of joining as a member.

A good parkland course that offers a few challenging holes. Straight off the tee and most holes will leave you with a mid iron into the green. Pro shop staff are very friendly and it has a good practise area that you can use before your game. They accept 2fore1 vouchers which makes it relatively cost effective to play.

Friendly and a beautifully kept course. Just a shame they had been tining the greens the day we played. A heads up would have been nice, hence the three stars. Any other time the course is definitely worth 4 or 5 stars.
