would have been 5 stars as the machine was generally good and the price was fair, however...There was a tear in the metal of the chipper's discharge tube, the bit that allows one to direct the downward angle of the chute. The tear allowed the top bit to gradually close. There has been a bit of duct tape on there at some stage, I assumed to hold it open. We did a LOT of chipping and the tear did run and get worse. Still 5 stars, these things happen, However....When I brought the machine back, I told Phil, the owner that I was impressed with the machine, and that the only slight issue was with the tear in the chute, which I pointed out That wasn't there when it left the yard!" says Phil.
