They dont take complaints seriously. Most staff are nice and politeThe managers attitudes are absolutely disgusting, the way they treat an talk to service users is a joke. Andy (female)who is a manager is rude abusive and not profeesional

I stayed with valley house for over a year with my child and it was a very hard but the staff are lovely, very caring and understanding they gave me the help I needed. I have now moved onto my next journey of living in my own house and my support worker at the time helped me massively with the transition even after I finished there service.

Valley House do so many wonderful things for people in Coventry. There is a lovely Nursery providing daycare facilities. Valley House also offers support to teenage parents, those fleeing domestic abuse and people in need of counselling. The staff really do care about the people, Valley House comes highly recommended.

This organisation is funded and staff paid by Coventry City Council to provide a service for Domestic Abuse and looking at the recent reviews it would appear they still operate in the same disgusting way. We have first hand experience of how they operate. Withholding food bank vouchers knowingly leaving someone without food appears to be a favourite punishment. lying to ‘service users’ placing them in council/housing association blocks with no clue of where they are with other tenants that have no connections with Valley House without carrying out any risk assessments first then told to make your own complaints to the landlords when you are supposed to be in a safe house! However they do not hesitate to make contact if you owe service charges to get you to pay or put your stuff on the doorstep if you assert yourself. Support workers only showing their face to tick boxes to ensure Valley House get their money. The complaints procedure is biased and they lie and collude to cover themselves, even to other organisations. The management treat and speak to service users with contempt and those with no one to give them a voice are bullied into silence. They are dealing with traumatised victims of abuse yet no sympathy is shown or support offered, they are merely cash cows . You get your property stolen no empathy shown. They will not support you with going to appointments, Marac meetings aren’t discussed with you and take place behind your back making decisions about you without your consent. Having found the courage to leave a perpetrator they find themselves in a position of further abuse so disturbing they prefer to return to their abusers rather than remain at Valley House. Don’t expect any help when you leave either because they don’t bother to turn up, you have to sort everything yourself and they don’t care if you have nowhere to go……..Service users should report their experiences to the council and the Council should be investigating this organisation as these ‘Service Users’ deserve better, it is disgraceful but I assure you absolutely true. Other services need to think very carefully before sending brave vulnerable people to this organisation as what they claim they do is purely for effect and no more than a paper exercise, they do not care and they certainly have no understanding of Domestic Abuse.

My granddaughter attended this nursery and she was really happy here. Definitely noticed an increase in confidence and development within the years she attended. This was no doubt due to the staff who provide a nurturing and encouraging environment. Was really pleased with the communication they had with me as a carer and how they addressed any concerns I had at the time. Would definitely recommend this nursery to others and I always look forward to attending any other events they have with my granddaughter.

Fantastic nursery. Both my children have enjoyed going. The staff are amazing, friendly and caring towards the children. The facilities are great with a huge outdoor area where the kids can ride bikes.

stayed here end of last year, experience was appalling, also had the same disinterested rude management, was left with Agoraphobia, CPTSD and ME on a council estate in middle of nowhere with no idea where I was. Visited once a week for forty minutes, to fill in forms. Told me to expect men to just walk into the flat from council, not what you expect with Domestic Violence, no access to anything. Also suspected it was some sort of scam to milk Universal Credit. This was confirmed when I told the manager I would be prepared to take legal action for abuse against them they suddenly realised I had a brain, and suddenly wanted to try, also refused food bank was told I had too much money (I had nothing), IDVA who did not listen lied to me several times, these were the two occasions she spoke to me. They spoke to me as if I did not have a brain and had special needs, would not even take me for a coffee so I could get an idea if could live in Coventry. Did things without asking me, not right, all the abuse services have held Marac meetings about me without involving me or telling me, again not right. After a month spending the day walking around in circles in flat and garden with no interaction or any IT access . I fled back to my property because I was becoming more scared of their attitude than I was of my abuser - just appallingThey left me to sort this as wellAlso suspect it is privately owned and some of the staff are the owners family.Just awful - Do not give a damnNotice below the empathy in the reply - NoTo all ladies going through this you are vulnerable, in law this is called organisational abuse - you have rights

When I first joined them I was shattered& devastated by all means. The staff was so comforting & supporting since day one, tbey gave me all the support I needed through the hardest of times. When I hit rock bottom they were all doing their best to put me back on my feet. Their nursery was an amazing experience for my child. And I really felt I was held in a safe haven after all. Their activities & support groups made me feel alive again. I am grateful & thankful to all of the staff their ♥️
