This was a follow up following an ultrasound and steroid injection in my eft shoulder. The treatment was successful. Professor Gwilym was very approachable. He explained what had been done and we discussed future implications of my prior injury. He was clear and reassuring. He encouraged me to ask questions and these were answered. He encouraged me not to hesitate to revisit if required. I’m very grateful as the pain has gone and my shoulder function is much better.

He is awesome!The consultations were amazing and he actually listens. We had proper chats about the issue and what could be done.He has a great sense of humour too!But the most important bit I guess is that my shoulder is fixed! It’ll awesome. It’s perfect. I honestly believe I wouldn’t have recovered to the extent that I did, without Prof Gwilym’s expertise, knowledge, empathy and perseverance I have no doubt that if I hadn’t sought his help my injuries would have stayed with me for life.Prof Gwilym has been extremely professional, dedicated, knowledgable, approachable and supportive during my complicated recovery. I’ve been on quite a journey with my horse mis-haps and I feel like we have been on that journey together. Thank you Prof Gwilym, for getting me back to normal life again, and back in the saddle!

I cannot praise Stephen Gwilym highly enough, his knowledge and expertise is second to none. He made sure I was comfortable with the decisions we made together at every level of treatment with my frozen shoulder as well as taking the time at each consultation to fully explain everything and answer any questions I had.I fully trusted him at each step of my treatment and along with his kindness and great sense of humour I will miss going to see him, but I am very grateful that my shoulder is now on the mend!

Obviously I’d rather not need to visit in the first place but my experience was excellent. Professional and knowledgeable. Very quick plan in place and good follow up. Great care, explanation and communication. I felt very at ease. Lovely gentleman.
