Lovely, easy going walk around the Tarn. Beautiful all year round. Plenty of ducks to feed, small play area for the kiddies while adults have a coffee at the waterside.Usually seasonal activities are available such as kayaking however not sure how they've been affected with covid.Only reason for 4 star is the cafe is only open until half 3 so don't leave it until too late in the day if you fancy that coffee and cake :)

Met a new member of staff that was very rude and confrontational which made my coffee purchase very drawn out and uncomfortable. In the end coffee was very poor for the price and tasted like nutty dishwater. Custom lost, will try watchtree for my walks instead

İt is a bit small and no available tables so had to take out and it was a bitterly cold day, but the ladies who work there were lovely

Pleasent afternoon watching all the activity on the lake and sipping a cuppa.

Lovely welcoming staff. Fantastic cakes, the massive spiral Cumberland sausage in a bun was fab. Coffee a bit weak. Good local beers. Nice place to drop by and sit by the Tarn and watch the water fowl and the occasional boat. Upstairs was closed 12.9.22 so only 3 tables downstairs.

A beautiful little treasure. A great place to have a good walk with your dog, you can feed the ducks, or watch the Talkin Tarn Ameture Rowing Club practice or the yachts or even hire your own boat. It has a lovely tea room. Parking is a pound for an hour or 2 for the day, and you can walk around the Tarn in half an hour at a lesurely pace. Very well worth a visit.

Unfortunately visited in cold whether. Staff refused to help to warm homemade food for infant. My 1yo had a cold porridge as result. Thank You for hospitality (sarcasm)
