We asked Danny and his team to undertake a big renovation project that has been carried out over two phases, extending into the garage to create new bedrooms and bathroom, as well as knocking down internal walls to make a bigger kitchen/ living space. They have been fantastic!Danny is always available to answer questions and come up with solutions - nothing is ever a problem. Both he and his team are friendly and personable and take great pride in their work - with the end result being an incredibly high standard.As with any job there have been a few unavoidable hiccups on the way that we're sure would have derailed many builders and led to long delays, but Danny is always willing to go the extra mile to find a way to keep things on track and to keep us informed of what's happening.We've got to know Danny and his team so well over the past year we will even miss seeing them when they're finished!We're very happy with the new space in our house - thanks DTJ for making it happen! He took our project personally and told us at the beginning he would become part of the family – it almost felt like he did, because of his friendly face and always cheery manner!We are delighted with our new extension, kitchen and bathroom, and the outstanding quality of workmanship and finish. We had excellent service from Danny and the team during our project to remove a load bearing wall, form two alcove shelving units and replaster the ceiling. The space has really opened up as a result. All work was to a high standard, including the finishing touches like installing radiators, new doors and boarding the floor to ensure it was level throughout. Danny kept us fully informed throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend for any building projects.

We highly recommend Danny and his team. They did an excellent job in removing a load bearing wall to create a large kitchen/dining room which included installing the kitchen, flooring, radiators and all other work required for completion. The renovation work also included installing an inset electric fire in our living room. All work was completed to excellent standard with the end result exceeding our expectations. Danny was always available to answer questions and give advice on improvements to our plans and we were kept informed on the progress of the work which was completed within the expected timescale and budget. His team were very professional and friendly. We could not be happier with the final result.

The DTJ team was outstanding start to finish. Communication before the job was excellent. Danny was flexible with timing of the job, which made organising it much easier. The team worked quickly, efficiently and did an exceptional job with our side extension, porch and garden wall. Excellent all round building company. My new flat within a listed building needed a complete renovation and it was a pleasure to work with Danny to achieve this. He is personable and professional, as is his team. Also any contractor he brought in (plumber/electrician etc) were also of the same high standard. Danny’s workmanship is extremely good, as is that of his team. The materials used were as perspecifications, and he was very flexible in the way we ordered various items between us. His advice was invaluable in the way that the building works were progressed and how they were finished. He sets himself and his team very high standards, with his ethos being that his business will be based and judged on the quality of their workmanship. I certainly have no problem in recommending Danny and his team in this respect. Great attention to detail was evident throughout.Value wise, Danny’s Quote was not the cheapest we received, but it was his reputation and the way he communicated with us that swayed us to accept it. His professional attitude and realistic views when he visited the site gave us confidence in his abilities and commitment to the project. We certainly were not disappointed in accepting his quote. No project of this size goes exactly to plan, and there were issues with lead times for materials and and a problem with the doors for the garage conversion, all of which were largely out of Danny’s control, but it was how he dealt with these problems that was impressive; re-arranging the ongoing work to keep to schedule and pushing the suppliers and subcontractors to resolve the issues. There were very few snagging problems at the end of the work as there are in all projects of this size, all of which were promptly dealt with as they were identified.Danny and his team were always courteous and friendly. Great communication and consultation kept the disruption caused by the works to a minimum. I have no hesitation in recommending DJT to anyone who is looking for a quality result, backed by a builder who places quality, professionalism and customer service at the centre of his business.

Could not recommend DTJ enough! Danny and the team took on the job of our extension, which combined the existing dining room with a new kitchen to create a new open plan living space that opens up to the garden. Not only did he keep to budget, he also kept to agreed project times - always a worry when working with someone new. The quality of workmanship is really excellent and the team were great to have at the house - even the dogs were happy. Would not hesitate to get DTJ back for another job at our house!

Danny and his team are brilliant; hard working, meticulous and reliable. Nothing is too much trouble and every problem has a solution. Danny managed my 8 week project from start to finish and it ran more or less like clockwork and kept to budget. My extension and new kitchen/ diner are beautiful. I was nervous about choosing a builder, but I'm so glad I chose DTJ. Danny made the whole thing easy and even enjoyable. I had actually worried that his other reviews were too good to be true, but they're not. Get Danny to take on your project if you possibly can. Move over George Clarke !
