I couldn't have been more excited for the big day knowing that my beautiful dress was altered and adjusted in such a wonderful classy way. I felt so elegant and unique in the dress. Anna and Sophie have been amazing from the beginning and so understanding, patient and professional. I could not recommend them more!!!Excellent dressmakers. Loved my Dress. I had sleeves added on, dress taken up, shoulders taken in and glitter added to the dress. Loved my dress. Customer service was amazing nothing to much trouble. Also took up my bridesmaids dresses at short notice. Thank you Sophie xx

Sophie did an amazing job with the alterations on my wedding dress and all of my bridesmaids dresses.My dress was taken up, taken in, straps altered and I had a loop added to the back. It fit perfectly and the loop held up all night even though I didn’t leave the dance floor!Sophie was efficient, very reasonably priced for the amount of time and effort she put in and nothing was too much trouble.Would definitely recommend ☺️

Sophie recently altered my wedding dress and my daughter’s bridesmaid dress and both fit perfectly. I had it taken in a size, sleeves added, hem taken up, tulle added under the skirt and pads added in the bust and this was all very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Sophie and Anna and would use them again.

I recently picked up my wedding dress after having it altered and I was highly disappointed with the results. The hem was wonky, the organza overlay was cut so that the underlay showed in places, and the fit, despite being bought a size up to allow for alterations, was far too tight around the arms, whilst bulging out at the bodice.When I pointed out the issues that I could see, I was met with a poor attitude, excuses as to why I was wrong (despite being able to see the issues clearly) and very little ideas for solutions. I asked for some alone time with my mum where I decided to just accept the alterations and take the dress to be fixed by someone else.When I said that this was the plan, I was again met with a bad attitude. I was offered for her to fix my dress there and then but honestly the trust was gone at that point and I decided to just pay rather than risk my dress being held and take it elsewhere.I would not recommend this service to anyone. The stitching alone was really horribly done, something I wouldn’t have cared about had the fit and attitude been better. I haven’t asked for any compensation or refund, I just want to warn people about my experience in the hope that this shop does a better job with the next bride.

I would highly recommend Sophie & Anna dressmakers to everyone looking to have alterations or clothes made. I had a wonderful experience every time I went in to the shop to try on my wedding dress. Although it was an off the peg dress because of the alterations that where made everybody actually thought that I had had it custom made for me. I look forward to going back with any other alterations that I may need or if I needed an item of clothing making for a special occasion I would not hesitate to go to them. Thank you for helping to make my day special.

Sophie & Anna saved my wedding last year and rescued my dress!The work they did was second to none as was their customer service and prices!I have recommended these lovely girls to everyone and will continue to do so!

Unfortunately my sister's wedding dress wasn't altered to the standard expected, and although these were corrected, the level of courtesy given wasn't as expected. We had no apology for the mistakes or inconvenience, when brought to their attention, nor when the dress was picked up. Not even 'have a lovely wedding' as she left. Disappointed, as she was not reassured it would be done in time either, given it was 3 weeks before wedding. Feel the customer service could have been better for our experience.
