The Endometriosis Clinic
Amazing Endometriosis Clinic. I have stage 4 Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. From the start this clinic were on the ball. Emails back and forth. Consultation appointments arranged quickly and they were very thorough discussing my condition and options.I felt listened to and respected. Then surgery arranged with 3 Top specialists.I cannot thank Mr Yousri Afifi, Mr Nigel Suggett and Mr Prashant Patel enough!!!They truly had my best interests at heart and still do.All 3 of them discussed the plan for surgery and then explained afterwards what they had done, in detail. Followed up with summary letters to my home for my records. They also have a plan for me for the future and my ongoing care with this disease, not just a quick goodbye after surgery.Mr Yousri Afifi has spoken to me many times about my condition, he is extremely knowledgeable but shows true compassion and clearly wants to help women with this awful disease to live pain free and be able to live a happy life.I would recommend the Endometriosis Clinic Birmingham to anyone and in fact I already have, with women already contacting Mr Afifi and having surgery with him to great success.I am forever grateful.

The Endometriosis Clinic
I cannot thank all the staff at the endometriosis clinic and the priory hospital enough. I recently travelled over to Birmingham from Dublin for surgery. This was not a decision I took lightly, but after multiple surgeries over the years in Ireland, my consultants here were telling me a complete hysterectomy was the only option I had left and I was not happy with this prognosis. After speaking to Katie in the clinic, a video consult was arrange with Mr Afifi, and it was just plain sailing all the way. I sent over recent mri images and they spotted endo in places that had not been seen by the Irish consultants. It was an easy decision to go ahead with the surgery, even though my own friends and family all had a comment to make about going “abroad” for surgery, including my own GP who strongly recommended I did not. I had to trust my gut instinct and I knew I was in safe hands, with truly knowledgable and compassionate specialists. From the minute I checked into the hospital for surgery, every single member of staff was so nice and friendly and chatty, and they all truly had the patients best interest at heart. I was offered more cups of tea over the next 24 hours then I have ever been offered in my life! This was not my first surgery, far from it, so I wasn’t nervous, but even at that, I felt so comfortable and taken care of, it was amazing. The surgery itself went so well, Mr Afifi and the other surgeons (whose name escapes me, apologies!) were truly amazing. My endo is stage 4 and deeply infiltrated my bladder and bowel, and I was worried about recovery but I was up and walking around the night of the surgery (a Thursday) flew home on Saturday and was back to work on Monday, practically pain free. Long May it last! I can’t really explain what it’s like to have a surgeon who listens and makes you feel heard and validated, but that’s what Mr Afifi and his team do. A million thank you’s to all the team and staff :-)

The Endometriosis Clinic
Terrible, no communication, excuses of being ill, on holiday, NHS fault & left my 17-year old daughter in pain with severe symptoms after we paid and still chasing for progress when promised MRI in two weeks - not even received a consultation letter that has now been promised three times. Constantly having to chase and they don't manage expectations at all, paid £300 for a 20 minute Whatsapp call, which was a complete waste of time and no value - simply do not trust this clinic. Be aware there are two Endometriosis Clinics with the same name - a London based Clinic and Mr Mann who is Birmingham based. Do not make the same mistake as we did and find someone who cares!
