Parked at the end of a junction, cars having to go round him on the other side of the road which could cause an accident! Phoned them up they couldn’t care less told me to phone the police ! 19/04/22

Emailed SH to advise of potholes in my road. Received a response in less than 24 hours advising that the potholes had been inspected (unlikely in the time frame) and were not considered bad enough to be filled. (dinner plate size and at least an inch deep) However, yellow markers have now been put around them so I'm guessing they are due to be filled. Mixed messages!

I called suffolk highways about Marlow Rd in ipswich on the 31st August. They said I would get a confirmation email from them with a reference number on it straight away. I have never received this email. Most of the roads in ipswich are unfit for cyclists. They need to check all the roads.

Not very good, as the bish overhanging the pavement at the crossing point reduces vision from the left and means older pee and wheelchair users have to bump down the kerb and it is a H and D issue, ya don't need an IOSH or NEVOSH to work that out!!!

My priorities are walking safely and slower traffic speeds. Suffolk Highways priorities are moving traffic as fast as possible from one point to another. Plus they have a reputation with my local parish council of not replying to communications.

You could have fooled me that Suffolk Highways even existed, such is the appalling state of the roads in the Ipswich area. The pavements in & around town are even worse & have caused me dozens of near trips & a couple of serious falls in a few years. All Suffolk Highways seem to do is reprofile Copdock Interchange for no good reason whatsoever every few years. Beginning in 2020 they shifted 4 traffic carriageways & the perimeter pavement by approximately 10' to one side! WHATEVER WAS THE POINT??? WORSE was that the previous pavement was one of the very few in Ipswich with a smooth, flat surface, but as soon as they laid the new pavement, they dug up the older one & it remains a muddy, weedy patch. It should have been left for pedestrians with the new pavement used to separate them from the dual carriageway traffic & also serving as a cycle lane. Only an imbecile with no traffic sense would have redesigned Copdock Interchange the way it now is. The traffic lights leading into the housing estate behind the motel have been installed & turned on since 2021, despite the junction still being blocked to traffic because the building works have been so slow. So Ipswich taxpayers having their money wasted paying for electricity to power redundant traffic lights, but supposedly not enough money available to pay for proper street lighting between 23:00 & 06:00 !!!

Temp traffic lights set up incorrectly. No way of calling suffolk highways. Bearing on mind the total havoc on our road due to increased temp changes. I know legally you have to allow requests but please give us access to you when we spot an error causing absolute chaos!!

Did not have the curtsey to tell us was shutting Road in front of the pub closed entrance to our car park if they had taken the time to speak or write to us would no we close Monday and Tuesday every week could have done the awful patch work then. Fumes in pub noise no customers as could not get in. Terrible loss of revenue all down to Suffolk Highways incomptence MP letter sent. Not the first time they do not give a dam about small rural businesses

I had to give 1star as I’m unable to leave none as they won’t let u post otherwise!! Suffolk highways are a joke I’ve reported so many issues that need urgent action such and vegetation growing so motorists are unable to see out of junctions, pot holes which have been told there not quite big enough to warrant filling in, even though a pot hole right next to it is done! Money is wasted as I know full well that the tarmac that’s left over is just dumped when they get back to site!! They spend thousands of pounds on shutting roads which aren’t warranted! We pay for cars to be road worthy but if a pot hole damages our tyres and cars good luck trying to claim as they will wriggle their way out of everything! Why have we paid extra council tax for lazy good for nothings to sit on their backsides doing nothing! We report problems only to be told they’ll be monitoring them, I will keep the email sent from Suffolk highways that they sent me telling me that long vegetarian will take 2months to cut down when someone is injured badly or even killed because of dangerous road junctions such as the bell lane/ foxhall road one where accidents are a common occurrence and people have died down this road not being cleared absolute joke!!!!!!
