As a frequent visitor to South Woodford, I often make time to pop into Mohabir for a sit-down meal or takeaway.The food is consistently great tasting, plentiful, freshly prepared, and of high standard.The staff are super friendly and really helpful.The decor is a bit dated, but this doesn't detract from the meal.Overall this has to be 5 star from me, as it is so consistent time and time again.Highly recommended.

We had a really nice meal. Mostly vegetarian, a few prawns. The food was good. Samosas a bit oily but the curries rice and naan were all delicious. We took away doggy bags with leftover food. Slow service but otherwise a really nice meal. Oh and poppadoms with interesting toppings including a coconut one.

The food is about as tasty as a bag of pebbles. I had the Palak Paneer, which was dry spinach with fried paneer added to it. It was bland, tasteless and quite frankly terrible. My first and last experience of this restaurant. How it has 4.5 starts I don't know.

One of our goto restaurants the owners Sammy and Kawsor are brillant.........food generally excellent I would be lying if I said we never had top class food but if there is an issue they always rectify

Absolutely gorgeous food. The flavours are amazing, the portions big, the service is remarcable and the price cheap. You can bring your own bottles. I will recomended 100%

Been here a couple of times for dine-in with friends from Italy, who tried Indian for the first time. We absolutely loved it, and the service was the best. They spent the time to really help us choose from the menu and give us recommendations to try things out. I then ordered takeaway many other times, and never been disappointed once. It's everything delicious!Highly recommended!

Unfortunately this place used be our favourite but lately quality has gone down the pan and portion sizes have reduced massively. To top it off last order gave us both food poisoning so won’t be going again.

Traditional Indian fayre, we were last in the restaurant but they didn't hurry us. it's one of our local curry houses so will go back. It's a BYO with a Tesco Express opposite.

The best Indian restaurant in South Woodford. Food was amazing staff were friendly and the atmosphere was ambient. Honestly a pleasurable experience
