Fantastic work carried out to ceilings at our property. Karl was super helpful, honest and really helped us out in good time as the work was urgent. We commissioned Top Finish to plaster a small room in our house. Before work commenced Carl attended twice to advise on the best approach and to provide a quote which was competitive. We agreed that I stripped the wallpaper myself before any works were done. Carl was happy to respond to WhatsApp messages throughout. I was impressed by his attention to detail, and he knew exactly how to resolve all the issues, for example repairing the backing plaster in places where it had detached from the brick wall. Here, Carl cut out the relevant areas and backfilled the backing plaster. We also agreed to put plasterboard up the ceiling which was expertly done. The wall plastering was done to a high quality finish and I cannot believe how smooth the surface is now. Carl advised also on the best way to decorate the room to ensure the plaster absorbs the paint without problems, and to cork tiny gaps between the wall and the skirting board. He also took great care to leave everything clean and tidy and was friendly and approachable throughout. I would not hesitate to commission Top Finish again.

Karl was Quick to call and Quote to plaster over our old aertex ceilings in the lounge & Dining room, and also a plaster repair on the wall, over a previously covered doorway on which the old plaster had cracked.His price was reasonable, and we where given a prompt date to complete the work, although he quoted for two days work, he was able to finish the job in a day with the help of a colleague, they were both polite, clean, tidy, and completed the job to an excellent standard.I would recommend Karl as a reputable plasterer with many years experience.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Karl enough to someone after a top-class plastering service. He was on time arriving at our flat to do the work and got stuck in straight away. He gave us lots of good advice about how best to look after the wall afterwards as well. We would 100% use him again for any other plastering work in future!

Karl came to do a small front porch for us. His initial communication was excellent. We arranged a date a time. He arrived bang on the time he said. This is a big thing for me.We showed him what we wanted him to do and left him to it. You wouldn't have known he was there. Worked efficiently and cleanly. Tidied up after himself and did a brilliant job. Advised how to look after the fresh plaster going forward.
