Evans Cycles - Sutton Coldfield

Went in for a professional bike fit a few days before a 102mile sportive ride. Lee was very professional, helpful and set up my bike perfectly ready for the ride. With only minor adjustments the bike felt much better on the road and my task of finishing the ride was much easier. Throughout the process I received great advice and although Lee made some suggestions about how new kit or narrower bars could improve my ride comfort he never tried to pressure sell me any items so my visit to Evans only cost me the original agreed price. Under a week since I ordered my bike, all fitted and ready to use. Staff were excellent and all my questions were answered. Accessories stock was good. Just brilliant service. Arrived late on a Friday afternoon and they didn’t complain even though we took up two hours of their time. Big thanks to Sean and Luke. Can’t recommend enough!

A shadow of its former self, Evans is basically now just Halfords. Use an independent instead.

I was there a week ago for advice about my custom build norco torrent and I end up speaking with the gm he was very helpful spotted the problem immediately and gave me the right solution for me. Thank you very much i will be definitely coming back

Had bike booked in for brakes and minor service. Team super friendly and honest (Josh and Harry) said the work I was expecting didn't need doing, but did a really good job on what did. Nice to know there is a reliable and honest service out there. Rest of store team friendly and pleasant. Will only be using these guys again after poor service in other bike shops.

Being new to mountain biking I decided to purchase my bike from Evans cycles believing they would be reputable and the bike would be reliable.The staff were friendly and very helpful they helped to advise me on my new bike. The bike was good on tarmac paths. I decided to take it away from the park on to some easy" mountain bike trails

I recently picked up a new mtb from here via click and collect. Expected sizing to be checked when I arrived but was quickly handed the bike and ushered out the door.Put it straight on the bike rack and headed to Sutton Park for a test ride only to find that the handle bars were well out of alignment and the disc brake cable hadn't been fitted into the relevant frame clamp, leaving it rubbing against the front tyre.Disappointed that more care wasn't taken with the bike assembly and a bit more time taken during the handover.

The workshop team are the best. I usually get great service from any Evans store I've been to but these guys went beyond to help me out. After my bike was damaged by the shop next door (my mistake in thinking I was taking it to Evans... they had snapped the rear hanger and replaced it with a wrong sized one). I went in to Evans to see if they could fix the correct hanger on and check the bike was in good order. Despite already having some bikes to fix up, the chap at the desk was able to sort out the issues that the other place had caused and fix the bike up in 10 minutes. Fantastic service! Note to self: Always check you're in the right shop...
