Cedar Joinery-NW

We used cedar joinery to do some work in our kitchen. All started great and they turned up as they said they would. However, once they started the job we realised there was no attention to detail as the splashback was installed in different directions, not following the grain from the previous piece. I pointed this out as i noticed it immediately as i walked into the kitchen. They realised and admitted they didnt check before cutting. We now needed to order another piece (which we had to pay again for) which would take upto 4 weeks as it was made to measure. We then contacted cedar again once the piece arrived and eventually they replied and set a date. They came again and then said that our windowsill wouldnt fit back on after removing so they would return in a few days to complete the job. We waited and waited and then messaged several times to ask when they would return to complete the job as they had told us to be careful using the kitchen sink as it wasnt sealed yet and would be done after they did the windowsill. We got no response from messages so we rang and left several messages for weeks. It is now months later and we have still had no response from any of our messages. This is totally unprofessional and has left us with an incomplete installation which we will now have to get someone else in to complete the job.Moreover, the glass splashback they installed isnt flush with the wall on one side, there is a gap. The screws dont seem to have been sent all the way through or they are too big for the holes and therefore stick out. It just looks like it was rushed and not attached to the splashback properly. There is also wood shavings and dust stuck under the glass and behind the glass which we cant now clean as its been installed.Also, the splashback near the window, the pieces have been cut so the joins are visible at the front rather than behind so its not a very professional looking finish. This is only a minor cosmetic discrepency but adding to everything else its a bugbear.In conclusion, although we found cedar joinery to be lovely and polite, they left us with an unprofessional, untidy job which is still not complete. We have waited months for them to get back to us and complete the job before we write this review so we are not being unreasonable as we wanted to give them a fair chance to resolve. They just didnt finish the job or even reply to our messages once they got full payment which we made the same evening in full trust they would return as they said they would. But it seems they got full payment and didnt think it was necessary to complete the job or even reply to their customer.
