Machines were quite smelly and ate our pound coins. We also wasted a pound on detergent as we put it in the washer before we found out it wasn’t working. Very inconvenient that they only take coins and don’t have a change machine. Dryers work well but need a bit of a clean. A bit of a faff tbh.

Nice and clean. The reason for a lower score is that they are coin operated machines but don't have change facilities. None of the close shops use cash so you can't buy a coffee and get some coins. You need another adventure to find somewhere with cash, another 10 minutes.Or Spruce Goose could modernise like most of France and use cards.

Bring coins...1 pound for soap, 4 for a wash and 2 or 3 for drying. No card facility.

I live on the same street and after moving to the area a year ago I needed a launderette. It is clean, well kept and reasonably priced for Bath, particularly Margaret's Buildings. There is sometimes an issue with faulty dryers but this problem is generally fixed quickly. Other than that it is conveniently situated close to my home and the opening hours mean I can schedule around other commitments. Recommend.

Simple yet very affordable laundrette in Bath located between the Circus and the Royal Crescent. Also nice that it is located on a side pedestrian only street that is outside the main tourist areas. One downside is finding places to get coins, as there is not a change machine onsite. That would help immensely.

A disappointing first and, sadly, last visit. There was a large (dry) coffee spill on the folding table and floor, the floor was generally unswept and filthy, the rubbish bin was overflowing and several washing machines and one drier were out of order.

Convenient place to do your laundry. Machines work fine. The only problem i had was not having a coin machine at the place to change your coins to insert into machine. Each load starts at £6 - £8 depending on which machine you use for your clothings. The shops around the place mostly used card payment so it was a hassle finding a place to get enough £1 coins for use.

Super convenient to walk to. Quite a few new washing machines but not that many dryers. Reasonable prices. Bring coin. No change machine. Surprised to find the owner there cleaning and maintaining the machines. Interesting street to explore. Excellent cafe down the street. Will use it again.

Wanted to share a newer update on this laundromat, especially for visitors.Lots of machines, soap available to buy for £1.Washing: Small loads are £4; large loads are £6. A small load took 30 min to wash.Drying: £1 for every 10 min. I dried a small load for 20 minutes and it was pretty much done.There is NO coin machine. Bring £1 pound coins.There are a couple cute cafes and a great beer shop next door to hang out in to wait. I could not see any other shops to try to get change from nearby, but this was in the evening.Clothes are clean and dry - thanks!

All the lights were out at 19:00 and the washing powder machine ate my pound coin without dispensing any detergent, but the washing machine worked well enough once I walked to the Co-op to buy some powder. So, a mixed bag, but handy in a pinch while traveling.
