Avis Car Hire - Glasgow City Centre

Rented a Budget car in Glasgow in perfect condition (clean, full of gaz, plus an upgrade). The agent was very efficient and explained clearly rental condition and offered us worry free add on for small fee. We had the car for two weeks and ran perfectly and the gps was easy to work with as well as radio and everything pertaining to the car. The return went smooth and quick and the invoice accurate. I highly recommend Budget/Avis for car rental

Great place to rent your car in Glasgow.We were met by Tom who was super nice , funny and made the whole process fast and efficient and off we went on our way .The car was clean , brand new , smelled very good and perfect for the journey we did. On the drop off we were greeted by Kevin who is super nice , and the whole process took few seconds.I highly recommend this place for your rental , we will definitely come back to rent again next time we visit scotland

We had a great trip to Scotland- Avis was stellar. You know how stressful Rental car agencies can be with upsell pressure and the like-- there was none of that. They called to confirm and review the reservation, they gave us great directions out of the city, explained how to get an L" sign for the car while I figured out the whole "other side of the road" thing. Highly recommend."

The only place expectations were exceeded was in customer services’ unwillingness to help. Did not accept my reservation due to my Canadian documents. Rude, unprofessional, and a total let down.Head to the airport if you can, much better prices!@Avis that is too vague of a response. If there is a centralized repository for customer complaints please do send it over. Not sure I understand the slogan “we try harder”. No other car rental company had an issue with the documents I brought from Canada. I asked multiple counters at the airport and experienced no difficulties. All of this compounded with you refusing to let me talk to management saying it’s at your discretion. This is simply bad business and you’ve lost a customer.

Easy reservation process online, car was waiting and ready even when I arrived 10 minutes before reservation, and the dropoff after-hours was simple with the key box. This location is also a quick walk from City Centre hotels. A great way to facilitate a trip to the Highlands.

My recent experience was impeccable at Avis Newcastle upon Tyne (airport).My hire vehicle required a service and the staff went out of there way to arrange a replacement for the few days then swopped it back at my convenience.Graham, please thank your team for there help and support.Kind Regards, Steve

impossible to reach out to anyone out of office hours despite the phone number provided. we spend an hour trying to figure out where to park the car. the street where the car hire is, is fully parked. calling other avis centers was useless too. zero customer service + time wasted

Pure magic! The day we arrived, we were informed the systems were down. Even still, the staff were all very kind and helpful. Our car was ready to go. Pick up was also a breeze. I've rarely had such a good experience with car rental. Thank you!
