Shop to shop, usually 72 hours I’m told. Monday morning dropped off in Sheffield, Thursday text to Son to collect in Bristol. Not delivered to the shop. DPD main office insisted it had been. Shop keeper spoken to, no he didn’t have it. Spoke to Bristol dpd, yes it was being held, why? Probably to be delivered after the weekend. This is a present for our 9 year granddaughter’s birthday on Sunday. Thank you dpd, well done ( not) especially texting to say it had been delivered when it hadn’t. I wondered why the service was about half the price of Hermes.

After three failed attempts to deliver my parcel, it turns out the Geo system DPD uses puts my town over 40 minutes away!!! This morning, on the fourth unsuccessful attempt, instead of returning it to the depot as the other three drivers had done, Alex, the driver finished his rounds and then went on Google Maps to find out where we were. He came all the way back to Highworth to make sure we got our delivery today. We are not impressed by DPD but Alex deserves a medal for his customer care. He was lucky there is social distancing at the moment, otherwise my wife would have given him a big hug. Thank you Alex, you’re a star. I'd also like to thank Jordan who phoned this evening, to make sure we'd received the parcel.

DPD consistently provides absolutely horrendous delivery service. Every single time I am supposed to receive a package through them there are problems, delays, hassles, and outright lies. Their own online service to leave delivery instructions is completely ignored and they refuse to come back as their web site promises. I would NEVER choose to ship anything via DPD but Amazon.co.uk refuses to stop sending me packages through DPD so it happens on occasion. I may stop using Amazon if they cannot rectify this. Avoid DPD at all costs, even if shipping is double the price it's worth it to avoid this awful delivery (or non-delivery) service.

A driver rang my doorbell & was in the van driving away when I answered the door. I attempted to contact to find out what had happened. Almost impossible without a parcel number. The driver did not leave a card so no parcel number. Eventually I got through to a human who wasn't interested as I was not the customer or intended recipient. After several minutes on the phone at my expense by the way, I was promised an apology & confirmation that this issue had been dealt with. I thought at the time this was a lie to get me to go away. I was right. A neighbour had a similar problem only a few weeks ago. They didn't care about that either. So if your parcel is late or missing, it's probably because your driver is playing children's games with random doorbells and the company doesn't care.

No point saying a 1 hour time slot will be sent. This didn't happen for my last 2 deliveries. I also complained about the driver leaving very heavy boxes at the bottom of my basement lightwell. 36kgs of dog food is a bit too heavy for me, a pensioner, to lug back up the steps. No point phoning as you press 0 to get to speak to a person and you're immediately cut off. This happened 4 times. Unacceptable service so I have emailed the CEO Elaine Kerr.

Terrible service never picked up my parcel for delivery .picked up another that had just been delivered 4 doors down the road on a private road and rang them and said its on way when I explained to the person I needed a redelivery they couldn't do it as not trained then hung up take your money and not do the service you pay for I used these for years I post out every week and get treated like this shameful

Drivers are more interested in making the delivery appointments rather than making an actual pick up. Rang once and was gone without calling the provided number as specified in the pick up info. Had to reschedule explicitly specifying that they need to call rather than leave immediately as the packages were valuable and couldn't be left at the entrance. Once more he was gone in a 30 sec window (of course he didn't call). Would not recommend.

I asked for the driver to leave with a neighbour if I wasn’t in. He hasn’t and is taking it to a so called local drop off point which isn’t local to me and closes at the time I finish work so is now impossible for me to get my parcel.

I had a huge delivery of compost today to build a flower garden for a lady with mobility issues. Your driver Chris was amazing... He actually took 14 bags of compost to the back garden for me, I call that going above and beyond. What a credit to your company. I hope you have a rewa8or bonus scheme in place for your employees as this driver definitely deserves it

I wasn’t happy with service from DPD. They said they tried delivering parcel when I was in ALL DAY! 2 days wasted and very poor customer service. When said parcel DID arrive it was damaged I suggest finding another courier company if you want your parcel delivered correctly and undamaged.
