Had an key cut for an Ingersoll door lock. After given almost 3 months run around by Timsons, Stacey cut a working key within 5 minutes. Super knowledge and service. A gem of a shop.

I was regretfully having to replace beautiful old locks on a victorian house with modern ones. I had never had keys for them. The business owner Stacey, was extremely helpful. This is my local hardware store. It's got key cutting and axe sharpening... and I'm sure other services that I've never needed. It's a treasure trove of useful and interesting items with helpful and knowledgeable staff. I can not recommend this shop enough!

I showed up at Wincheap Hardware with one of 9 drawers of my late grandad's 80 year old desk. The lock system looked quite jammed, rusty and dirty, and I no longer had keys to these drawers. I left Stacey with this very precious drawer, hoping to hear from her in a couple of days, fearing the only viable solution was replacing all locks and losing the original features.Much to my surprise, Stacey contacted me on the same day with a key and a functioning lock. All drawers whose locks were damaged are on their way to Stacey's magical hands. I cannot thank her enough for this, she demonstrated being an incredibly talented professional. 100% recommend this shop, even when you think you have an impossible task at hand!
