Great beach. £10 for the day car parking can drive straight on to the beach and set up . Toilets great and ice cream van all day would definitely visit again

Visited with my grand daughter who loved it.Parked very near the beach and short walk over the sand dunes to sea the great open flat beach.Great for children as able to see easily.Life guard on duty and viewing point.Great for dog walkers...we took a picnic...Can pay go drive your car onto the beach was a little pricy at £10 for the day we were asked for..but we were early and only stating a couple of hrs so found a spot close by...fantastic for families..a definite.....must visit for a safe walk to the sea edge.

Absolutely beautiful beach, clean and you can take dogs. We had a fabulous day and you park on the beach for £10, a little expensive. Only downside there wasn’t any nearby food facilities, so we’d take a picnic next time

Beautiful clean beach for all, very well looked after, bins changed regularly, water clean, helpful staff (ready to tow you out if you get stuck) life guards on patrol, dod section and family section. £10 for a car for all day. Great for camping out on the beach for the day with a picnic. Oh and of course an ice cream van. Love this beach.

Parking on the beach! £10 for all day.Ice cream is £3 to 4 for a Mr whippy.Great beach for young families as the water is so shallow and it goes on for miles. Remember to bring sun cream, a towel and something to block the wind!

Gorgeous sandy beach, and when the tide is in it’s not too far to walk out to the sea. Plenty of space for cars and toilet facilities are available too. Sometimes an ice cream van will drive down the beach in summer. Lifeguards on duty so feels very safe.

Parking in day for 10£ is much, it must be 5£, however if you travel there after 4pm the parking is 5£. Lovely clean beach, this is the only beach in UK you can drive car, very clean sand, water not that clear coz lots of sand in it, quite place and plenty of free space. Walk, rest, play with water or sand is good, kids will love it to make sand castles. I recommend this place.

Beautiful once you get past the busy area near the car park. The walk between Ainsdale and Formby is stunning and pretty much deserted. There are toilets and ice-cream vans near both car parks.

Ainsdale Beach
We went for an early evening stroll, only a couple of people ( mainly Pontins customers) around so it was very quiet and relaxing.Beach was very clean, with no litter despite it being a popular location, during the day.We were nearly caught out whilst gazing at the beautiful sunset by the very rapid incoming tide ( Beware ) !!!
