Barley Twist
Excellent Castle Rock bar a short walk from the train station.Cask, keg, cans, bottles, wine etc including some higher end stuff, I had a Deya on keg.Upstairs/ground floor seating it also has a very cosy cellar seating area that's good for escaping the heat.Very modern, stripped back walls, fairly dark decor.Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant little place for a drink. Our first stop every time we get off the train, also good while waiting due to its proximity to the train station and the departures board on a tv Great selection on ales and lovely atmosphere. More space downstairs although I never had a look.

I like this place but it's a bit pricey, definitely one for the artisan beer fan though, loads of beers in cans for sale to drink in or take away. Really friendly staff as well.

Visited May 2019. Great place for craft beers. We came here several times on this trip. A definite stop again next time in Nottingham. Lighting not good for interior photos.

Great little Castle Rock pub located in and old sweet shop. Great selection of craft ales and fantastic service. The atomosphere is also a big plus.

Paid £4.40 for a pint of soda and blackcurrant cordial! Should have been informed it was coming from a bottle and that I'd be paying premium prices.

Fantastic place, excellent drinks, friendly staff but keep away from the fridges or your nights just gonna bounce along nicely.
